  1. My buddy is shooting one in USPSA and says it’s almost like shooting an STI or an older Para. He loves his.
  2. I’ve heard that the grips need a little something. Ordered from here, precut for Platypus. https://www.handleitgrips.com/product-page/stealth-arms-platypus-gun-grip-enhancement-gun-parts-kit
  3. At Sunday’s match, I was able to inspect and shoot my buddy’s new Platypus. It was even better than I hoped! (I recently ordered my own without having seen one). The fit and finish was great and it shot really well! His is all black and mine will be a little different!
  4. Thanks, my tricked out Glock 34 will be my backup.and I just sold my current backup 34 to help fund the new gun. CZs are a popular choice at my clubs.
  5. Here’s something which is quite affordable and runs right out of the box, the Stealth Arms Platypus. A fully customizable 2011: it comes in under $1800 with the optics cut of your choice and uses inexpensive Glock mags. I was able to inspect and shoot my buddy’s yesterday. He ordered his with a 3 lb. trigger that was very nice. It ran without any problems during our match and I found it fun to shoot. I’m glad I liked it, I had ordered mine a couple of weeks ago without seeing one!
  6. It’s excellent for action pistol. At our Tuesday night league it’s what almost everyone uses.
  7. I had an M&P C.O.R.E., although the top of the mags were metal, the bottom third was plastic. They would shear at the seam when dropped on the concrete floor at our indoor matches.
  8. There are many YouTube range reports on the Platypus. No negative reviews at all.
  9. If the RMR cut isn’t available in a couple of weeks, I probably won’t even order. My buddy is getting his Platypus sometime in October. If it knocks my socks off, I may change my mind.
  10. A blank grip panel is not an option. Once the RMR slide cut is offered, I’ll order mine and also order a sheet from Talon grips so I can make my own grip surface once my Platypus arrives. That seems to be the gun’s only shortcoming. A future option is a grip that is less smooth. I’m not going to wait for that. The RMR option is already 2 months late. If I didn’t already have an SRO ready to mount, I’d have ordered the DPP slide cut months ago!
  11. The P320 magazines are in a video of future offerings.
  12. I think that’s probably a routine job for a good gunsmith. I probably wouldn’t try to get it out myself.
  13. I ordered and have used the Kore inner belt and it completely soled the uncomfortable bunching problem recommend it highly!! https://www.koreessentials.com/products/inner-liner-belt?_pos=1&_sid=ecfe673d1&_ss=r
  14. Found online: How to prevent the polish from rubbing off your gun – If you are concerned that the holster you have is rubbing the finish/polish off your gun, it’s time to get a new one. You’ll want a holster that has a smooth lining, to reduce the amount of friction that is generated from drawing & holstering the firearm. The dense hard plastic used in kydex holsters can be very abrasive and can remove the finish and leave noticeable scratches on your firearm. Leather holsters are usually softer and break in to reduce the amount of force needed to draw the firearm from the holster. We suggest choosing a leather holster that is lined with a very soft and smooth leather, which generally reduces and/or eliminates the threat of abrasive friction.
  15. Hi, I’m from Western New York, welcome!
  16. Will the JP be legal in your state?
  17. From everything I’ve read, it’s just a very good Glock trigger What you have now is probably equal to or better than the Performance trigger. Hope this helps.
  18. It might be cheaper to replace the mags that don’t work with STI mags that do. Sell the other mags and save the money you’d spend on a gunsmith. Just a thought.
  19. If you have a quality scope, I’d say every 6 months.
  20. Yes, but an outer belt without an inner belt must go through, I believe, 2 or 3 belt loops to be legal.
