Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. I have the same set up just with mark 7 , there where no ringers in the shell when it happened . I think a primer must of flipped or got stuck as it was cycling and then ignited. I had this set up as a dedicated 9mm press , I just swap tool heads and process 9mm brass . I run the swage sense and deprime sensor for those reasons. I normally use CCI primers but this time I was using federal 100 . Hopefully I won’t have this problem again.
  2. Awesome set up you have there . I have the smaller roll sizer which I should have got the bigger one but it gets the job done . I just had the primer station blow up a few primers on my 1100, I just filled the tube too. I’ve had nothing but problems with that presses priming system. I am just gonna use to now to process brass and load on my apex 10 . I never had any issues with the disc style priming on my apex or when I had XL650.
  3. I have the smaller roll sizer , i wish I bought the bigger one but this one works just fine . I did about 7-8k in a couple hrs . Definitely worth it .
  4. I just changed everything on the 1100 to processing . I’ve been having nothing but problems with loading on it . I processed 8k of 9mm with no problems. My apex 10 loads like a dream . One day I am gonna automate that .
  5. That’s what I am kinda leaning to , I just got done processing a batch of 9mm and it was a breeze having the mark 7 attached . I wasn’t sure about taking that press and turning into a processing press , the apex is far less finicky then the Dillion . Thanks for the input , I might just do what you said
  6. I currently have an automated RL1100 and an apex 10 ( not automated ) . I use my 1100 to process pistol and rifle brass but only load pistol on it and it’s a pain in the ass. Is it worth having one dedicated press or am I over thinking my whole brass process ?
  7. DAA makes one for Dillon that does pistol cases of all sizes . But not for rifle
  8. Love your set up , I have both an Apex 10 and Dillion 1100 that’s automated. Did you have a lot of problems with that set up ? I want to throw my Dillion across the room it’s such a pain in the ass . Also how is that tool head bolt ? Is it worth it
  9. It is a very nice tool head but weather is on an auto drive or not mine doesn’t work with the brass guide rod . The guide rod is just a little too long .
  10. I totally agree after going through that . What I had found was it was hitting the brass guide rod bushing , that why I couldn’t get a full stroke . I was gonna use it as a processing tool head but now it’s just a paperweight.
  11. I think I found the problem, has anyone else came across this
  12. I just received the armanov tool head and trying to install it and having nothing but problems . First you can not tighten the tool head down either hand tight or to spec which I think is 15ftlbs. I can not get a full stroke . I can go 3/4 of the way down and it stops, coming back up This ratcheting linkage or the threaded holes on the tool head seems to be the problem . It seems that it’s not traveling the complete distance to actually the restriction tab. Could the milling be off a little bit or I am doing something wrong . I put back my Dillion tool head with no problems. I even swapped ratchets . Still the same
  13. That’s good to hear , I was thinking about that the other day . I am gonna order one . I just ordered their dies to set up a separate tool head for prep. Haven’t received them yet but looking forward to it . I pretty much worked out most of the kinks , hopefully this is the last one . Been running smoothly so far Thank you for letting me know how it is ,I appreciate it.
  14. You do have a good point , I think I might get them.
