Typically at a level 1 match, if RO drops the gun wait till its done, he calls everyone back and has someone else on the squad (probibally whoever would be running the RO when he were shooting) retrieve the gun and place it in his holster. Alot of level 1 matches have more than 1 person running someone throughout the COF.

+1 the shooters have several olympics as its not like alot of the other sports where the younger people have a physical advantage.

The Compensated part puts you in open. You could swap the barrel with a non ported barrel and shoot production, limited, limited 10 etc. Lone wolf sells some very reasonably priced non ported barrels

your better off buying the whole gun as slides are not cheap when they come up for sale

Did the drumline in hs and some in college but that was about it. Went to an alumni reunion this last year and learned they have banned the delicia sticks as they were too heavy ie lack of chops and just dumbed down the music form what we had. Best percussion every year for 2 years straight every competition. Got to gear up even and show the young bucks how to properly play the drums.

Hoping the wolf gold is non metallic. From what I have seen its 193 just rebranded.

Magwell, sights of your choosing and a 15 pound recoil spring, and +5 mag extentions. Mine was set up with dawson super heavy magwell, dawson adj rear and .115 black front sight. I Then had a tungsten guide rod and 15pound ismi recoil spring and vanek trigger. My mag extentions were dawson as well

anyone checked the wolf gold 223 with a magnet? Out of town so dont have the ammo to check. Also, is 9 pellet 00 required or is that the max that can be shot those targets.

I would use Kydex over the CR speed for 3 gun. The lock on the cr speed isnt the greatst for the movement of 3gun. For alot of movement in a "race holster the racemaster is the only one I would trust

I agree if its not approved by the president of USPSA then its a no go. If it comes down to do the rule or no matches then choice is really, loose the match or loose the USPSA name and call it whatever you want and run it like an outlaw match. I would even go as far as to say any classifiers shot a club with that rule needs to be thrown out as invalid just the same as if the classifier is not set to spec. The classifier is ment as an equal way to juge preformance ie same layout, same rules, shot "straight up, no gaming" etc. To compare someone reloading muzzle up or how he sees fit and someone required to keep it down is not comparing apples to apples.

is the wolf/tula rifle ammo allowed for the match

The basepad really isnt lengthened that much. It just looks that way because how the dawson is designed. The bolen for instance sits at the very bottom of the mag. The dawsson covers alot of the mag and sits near the bottom of the extentsion. Its not like a glock where the mag starts at the top of the insert.

I can swap back and forth between irons and the dot. If your new to the dot, it does help to do dryfire to keep your index for the dot in check. While not an option for the xd, there are guys running 90 degree mounts to keep the dot low to the barrel so its closer to that of iron sights. Mine is a std verticle mount and it took getting use to at first but once you learn the index its not bad going back and forth
