  1. did ya being your scuba gear
  2. I change my own oil for that very reason. I mark my filters when they go on the vehicle. I had to take it in to get the oil changed once based on weather and having to where to do it indoors at the time. They would do the oil change with my oil and my filter. I ended up having my old filter left on the car and they started filling the car with the gun not the oil they were given. Needless to say they got to redo it and I will never have it done by someone again no matter what the weather. I have run the mobil 1 extended with a mobil 1 filter since I got the car since I run the car a ton and an would be changing it about every 2 weeks maby 3 if i pushed it with conventional oil. Not only did they lie but If it would have run it like i do synthetic it would have been pretty bad for the car
  3. Jard 2 pound in my competition gun. I have a bill springfield trigger in my SBR and with the bobbed hammer is 100 percent reliable. I also have a JP in a gun as well. I prefer the jard over the others and feel bill springfields is on par with the JP and much less money
  4. Sights are the big thing to change first. At least 1 140mm mag(2 would be better) would be nice for limited. That will give you 20+1. With the factory mags your going 15+1 so on 8 round arrays, your reloading ever array or going to slidelock with no makeup shots. With steel those extra shots are nice to have just in case

  6. The material is removed to make the large pads fit the box, not for reliability of seating and is done on the front corner
  7. Looks like my shooting schedule is done for the year alaredy. Went from 2 days off every 2 weeks where you knew you would be off to schedule something to no set days off,no schedule(can change up to 7pm the night before so no planning anything solid), and no vacation time allowed on top of that. Wow we can take vacation time when its 10 degrees out and nothing to do but sit around the house with nothing to do. Getting pretty sick of 7 days a week
  8. It really depends on the shooter I think. For me I will go for the rifle if I have the opportunity as I have more confidence in the rifle than the pistol
  9. I would go with the wilson, tripp or CMC mags. Quality over quantity. As for mag wells, dawson ice can be had for very reasonable now
  10. I think alot of stages would need to be redone today. "while seated in boat, hands on fishing pole, gun load in tackle box engage targets as they become visible"
  11. The burris 1x4 is a nice optic. On the weaver, is also clear good glass and the eye relief isnt as much as alot of the others. I run one on a std A2 length stock with standard scope mounts ie not the ones that place the scope farther forward
  12. How far do you plan on shooting? For a budget the 1x3 weaver is hard to beat
  13. Does this just mount on a cheap single stage press?
  14. We decided to recreate the challenger explosion with one of those model rockets you shoot up in the air. Had the wadding which prevents fire replaced with toilet paper, some fuel. It worked kind of as planned though had a nice big fireball. We also use to play war games. This was before paintball or airsoft so the BB gun was the weapon of choice. I was lucky enough to have a couple of guns including a mag fed co2 pistol. Safety equipment, sun glasses or the like were good enough
  15. I have never had luck with remington ammo in the conversion kits
  16. So there is no lend lease act for Glock 35s?
  17. Don't have a high tolerence for malfunctions here actually. The mags have never had a problem and that is with them dropping in the dirt not sand
  18. Never, I use primarily wilson 47Ds for the 45 and they don't get cleaned during a match or between matches for that matter. I am not even sure the last time they have been apart. Never had a problem with them.
  19. We actually had one built that took up the whole back of an SUV. It could be attached to the base of the vehicle. It could only be accessed through the tailgate and had a lock on the box its self. We had a cutoff switch hidden in the vehicle that cut power to the power lock for the back end. It was big enough to hold 4 shotgun americases, and 16 flats of ammo
  20. Unless production division is an absolute must, I would look at the STI spartan or trojan 9mm and have her shoot single stack. Grip is thin and you can use std or thin grips(which I believe the trojan comes with), recoil is very light, good trigger and holsters mag pouches are easily found. Shooting minor she would still have the same 10+1 you have just the score goes in a different division
  21. Alot of thieves hit up the large shoots. I know when I shot skeet, the world shoot in San Antonio had vehicles broken into every year. There were actually people that would place stickers on the bumpers they were saying and hit the cars up later at the restaurants, hotels etc. We had a college shoot down there as well and 2 schools got theire vehicles broken into. One they tore the lock out of a brand new school SUV, the other they tore a trailer apart(didnt just cut the locK) but tore the door apart. Hopefully it will turn up. Usually the more custom, or more expensive the gun the harder it is to move. You could dump a glock, xd etc off realy quick and easy. Your open gun, the Krieghoffs/Kolars they got in san antonio its much harder to move especially if they don't know what they have or the value
  22. No it wont hurt anything but on a defense shotgun I would just keep it loaded, with the button on the bottom of the carrier pressed safety off so just grab and chamber it. If your going to have the time to remove the lock then just rack the bolt back. Ie I wouldnt wanna be messing around taking the trigger lock off a shotgun that is hot especially when nervous safety on or not.
