  1. Maybe, if your going to keep it. But I've had DLC and PVD coatings on several of my carry guns and none of them were bullet proof from wear. My ZEV is wearing a little bit at the muzzle and the trigger guard on my duty single stack has a shiny place on it.

    New Glock 35

Well, Glocks are my favorite polymer guns for sure. I need some sights for my G34 as well and I'm leaning towards TTI.
  3. From what I've read on here, it seems as long as its just holster wear, most shooters dont mind it. So, I'd probably just save the money and sell it. If you're still inclined to have it coated, I'd go with the cheaper Cerakote, mainly because you're gonna sell it anyway.
  4. Get the Pro and load 40 minor for 3gun. At least you can go major if you ever decide to shoot USPSA.
  5. I don't shoot production or 3 gun, but I do own several Glocks including a G34. So, since you carry a Glock at work and off duty, I voted for the G34.
  6. Yes, but it's been a long while and not with a paddle holster. Like I said, it wouldn't be "easy" even if I just sit there and let you do it. The taker would have to know to push on the paddle and pull on the gun, while pulling up on the hole thing. FWIW, I agree that the belt loops are more secure. I just don't want to thread my belts through that and my belt loops every day for the next 9 years........
  7. nah, we got a retinal scan covertly from your computer.......much more reliable
  8. I can't speak for all paddle holsters, but the ALS paddle I'm using isn't going to be "easy" for anyone to get out of my belt/pants.
  9. It happens. Serpas suck. I have two of them......
  10. ALS Paddle, Model 6378 for both. For work (when I don't need a sport coat), I added a 1.5" drop and .5" off-set which makes the rig very fast. For off duty and concealed work, I have another one without the drop/off-set. And my Tac rig had a drop and off-set too. I'm sold on the product and if I ever shoot production or 3 Gun seriously, I will use an ALS.......
  11. 50+ is wearing me down...I can't fathom 80.
  12. Jedi, The ALS is a great system. I"ve been using an ALS paddle everyday for the last 8 months. I love 'em. Simple, secure and durable.
  13. Sounds like an idea. I'm also planning a 300 Blackout upper for it.......
  14. Check out Boomershooters on here. He offers the shirts at cost and then has a contingency program to boot. Look in the vendor tents..
  15. Yes I use the Sprinco 12# in my 5.4" Sight Tracker. I still change them around 3K rounds though. Cheap insurance.....
  16. 5" barrel with 7" suppressor. Using sandbags, we shot 1" groups at 50 yards with this rifle.
  17. I should know that answer....Colt or Uzi I think. I originally intended to go with a Gock mag compatible build, but changed my mind for two reasons. Using a standard lower with a block/insert will give me the opportunity to buy other SBR uppers/calibers without the need for another tax stamp. The other reason is I didn't like the way the Glock mag lower looked.
  18. This is a twin to the rifle I'm having Alamo Precision build for me. It's a 5" 9MM with the Silincerco Octane 9 Suppressor. It has the Trijicon 1.5 power Mini ACOG on it and I really liked it for the couple hundred rounds we got to shoot/test their rifle. Do any of you have any experience with Mini ACOG and if so, how was it?
  19. OP asks opinion of product, if anyone saw it first hand.. You say they are junk, without any actual reason or evidence.. Real helpful. I don't think he said anything about them being junk. That's your word. FWIW, I like the look of the checkering on the new CK grips. Anybody know how grippy it is compared to the others?
  20. That sounds great. How old where you when you started?
  21. Well said and I know/realize you are very motivated. Keep up the good work!!
