  1. Me too! I switched to TC profile and that seems to be the issue. RN was gtg.
  2. All the Nationals that are in the next couple months have been rescheduled.
  3. I think you’ll have to get those parts replaced. Then, add tape between. Nobel Sport BA 9.5 was the issue for me.
  4. I’ve shot this one twice. Once at Nats @95% and recently @100%.
  5. I honestly don’t know who I’d recommend to a new shooter. I’d probably throw out some names and say good luck. I’m not a huge fan of any of the ones I’ve tried. I’ve had multiple holsters form several brands. I think all have already been mentioned. I’m kinda with @TrackCage in this one. Just need it to hold my gun. not a fan of the month long wait times and won’t pay for “rush service “. So I tend to buy ones that are in-stock at the online retailers. anyways....
  6. “Good” is a matter of opinion. I’ve had some (more than one)that you’re saying are at the top of the heap that I thought were not “good”. They needed adjustment. I think most people would be surprised to know a lot of holsters are made in garages. Just saying.
  7. I’ve used their tungsten guide rods. I like liked them. Never used anything else they sell. I used TTI connectors and base pads. There is no need to buy a “take down” tool for mags. It’s not hard. Just have to learn how to do it. It’s very simple. be careful when reading someone’s advertisement for parts guaranteed to solve problem X. Very few actually do anything but make more problems.
  8. but how do you account for potential changes in skill over that period of time? Can you say for sure you were the same exact skill level the entire time? Would you be able to confirm that each time your ran the drill or stage, that your reaction time to buzzer was the same, that you’re transitions were executed with the same amount of precision and that you’re reaction times for pulling the trigger on an acceptable sight pic was the same? I know I feel I like one gun better. Maybe I feel its faster/slower or flatter but is it the gun? I think it’s accepted that heavier guns shoot flatter with everything but weight being the same. I think lighter guns transitioning faster is a little more complex. I also don’t think it matters and would probably admit I’ve spent more time focusing on it than it’s worth. as for the rules changes. After the last day or two, after reading all the info presented by everyone, I think they just want to make almost every gun legal in one division or another. So, production is now a division where you can shoot essentially any non 2011/1911/revolver, iron sighted semi-auto pistol, with almost any aftermarket mods. So, no matter what gun average joe rolls up to the range with, they will be legal in some division. match fees/classifier fees will be received.
  9. I think you’re probably more right than wrong on this. I’m not saying that it’s impossible to tell a difference between something like different weighted guns. Just think there’s a ton of room for miss-perceived feelings. I mean if you want gun A to be faster or slower, it’s very possible it will be. Not to mention, small aspects that can be overlooked in search of specifics. Was it faster/slower? Was it ran the exact same and all other variables were consistent? How may test runs were done? It’s easy to stop and move on once desired results were met. again, not saying it’s not possible but definitely not easy for some. Just my opinion.
  10. I wonder how many people get valid results form their so called test “on the clock”?!
  11. Maybe. speaking for myself, I’d buy a factory OR slide before I’d buy one that was milled after the fact. Especially If the factory option is cheaper.
  12. You’ll see SA legal and 15 rnd before long. Probably do away with major/minor too.
  13. Very good point. though, if they keep changing the rules under the pretense of ease of enforcement, then let’s just make everything/anything legal! That will require zero enforcement/knowledge of rules. Think about how much time that’ll save at equipment check. Heck, won’t even need to staff that position anymore. Think about how much easier matches will run! ok, I’m trying to be funny but in my mind, we gotta draw some lines and freaking stick with them!
  14. IMO CO needed the weight adjusted. Guns that were legal for production were over 45 oz (Stock 3). Now, if you have a cut up stock 3 or shadow 2, the resale value of that gun just took a hit since OR models will be available. I don’t see why Prod needed to be increased to 59 oz?! If it was just to match the new weight for CO, that seems lazy. The current rule of gun + 4 oz seemed like a sensical limit. IMO, the CO rules should have been changed to something similar. Like gun + 10 oz. oh well,.... it’s going to be fun to watch the gear heads try to push the limits to make glocks “competitive” by adding 12oz of weight.

    Gen 5 34 Issue

Keep checking that periodically. If I remember correctly, over time the problem comes back as the spring wears.
  16. I personally can’t really tell much difference, if any, between steel (jaeger) and tungsten (Glock Store). I use the tungsten with a 13# recoil spring. I installed a TTI trigger kit. There was an issue with getting me trigger safety tab to clear the frame. I can’t remember what I did to solve that issue. Sorry. Best advice would to order some combination of trigger parts/recoil assembly stuff and roll from there. Don’t worry about it. It’s not gonna matter much, IMO. I’m the worlds worst at thinking X may be better than Y. It’s not!
  17. I tried the Legion, Q5 SF and a shadow 2 this off-season. Shot a Glock all last year. I think I prefer lighter, striker fired guns. Right now I'm shooting the canik. Probably stick with it or switch back to the Glock. I just don't seem to care about "flatness". The 34 seems to be a turd on paper but it's really not.
  18. I wasn’t actually correct in my saying I’ve never tried the larger dots. I have. I had a RTS2 I think it was a 6 moa. I had a Sig Romeo Pro that was also a 6(I think). I just like the 2.5 on the DPP. I shot it all last year. Didn’t seem to hold me back. I’ve also tied the SRO and have a Vortex Venom. that’s 5 different dots. Have you tried 5 different dots? Most people haven’t. Like every thing else, dot size is most likely irrelevant. smile and wave all you want.
  19. This was a good monthly “striker vs hammer” thread. see y’all next month. by the way, we should start a new division that allows open guns in production. Also, I think production should be 16 rnds in the mag.
  20. I shoot pretty good with the dot I use. Just haven’t seen the need to use a larger one. That’s all.
  21. Gotcha. I could be wrong too. I’m probably more wrong than right.
  22. Didn’t say they were better. Just said I think they’ll make a comeback. Regain some popularity.
