  1. I ordered 10 on Feb 13th processed the 16th and still don't have them, going to have to see where the are I got a G19 KCI mag awhile back and am happy with it's performance and why I ordered the above. Update; My mags showed up today and they say KHAN on the base plate and body, they are total CRAP, FTF and FTE, I have a KCI mag that is constructed the same as genuine GLOCK and runs flawlessly. Turned my Glocks to Jam o matics. On these the the lips/liners are not even close in design to KCI or Glock and hit the ejector on my Glocks when inserted and feed lips are not the proper dimension in any way. I have called and got no answer and e-mailed asking to exchange these for KCI we will see how this goes down.

  3. Fed Auto Match (good lots) Fed 510 Champion CCI mini mag.
  4. 1.760 after trimming is the max length, you should trim shorter. You said yours were 1.756 which is good. Check and double check your charge weights use a good scale or two. Until you get consistent with your set up I would measure round and keep adjusting until right. You have to know exactly how much powder you are loading and if your machine or powder drop is consistent. What you are saying about the powder makes it sound even more like too light a charge. If it were me I would use 20gr. of your powder. Keep weighing until you are sure you are getting the amount you need consistently.
  5. IF IMR 4198 is the same as H 4198 I don't know. Sierra says 19.7 to 21.8 for the IMR 4198 for the AR15 with a 55gr. bullet, they give separate loads for Bolt & AR in .223 (hotter for the AR's gas system). Sounds like it is short stroking if everything else is in order. Bump up the charge a grain or so see if it cycles watching for pressure signs.
  6. Simoniz new 500 series car wax 16oz. orange bottle. $1.50-$1.70. Thin already and does not cake up on the brass or bottle.
  7. +1 I have a G22 second gen. with 1000s of rounds through it, a G34 with way less though it and a new G19 (got within the last year) with a couple hundred through it and all seem to have about the same engagement at approx. 2/3 engagement. If you try bending heat will probably be needed to avoid a fracture. Where do you get these "+" parts, Glock only? Looked at alot of places for Glock parts and have never seen any listed.
  8. I have a 34, 19, and a 22 with a Lone Wolf 40 to 9 conv. bbl which does have a tighter chamber. I reload on a SDB and my ammo works in all of them without a hitch. When I started looking into this most said it was a non-issue with the 9mm.
  9. Been looking around for a holster for a G34 that will cover the slide. Anyone tried the Blade-Tech 5.11? Does it fit and hold the gun reasonably well? Friction fit or lock on the trigger guard or both? Never seen one any where in person and I wrote Blade-Tech a while ago with a few questions and have gotten no response. Thanks!
  10. From what you have, Fed SR since you are going to load major 9. Fed pistol primers are supposed to be the softest out there, IMHO why push your luck when trying to push major. I am just thinking trying out rifle primers to narrow and simplify my stock down the road.
  11. Pistol, pet store corn cob with used dryer sheets and Simoniz "New 500 Series Car Wax". Cheap, can be bought for $1.50 to $1.70 for 16oz. it is already thin just add. IMHO very close to Nu Finish on ammo have not tried it on a car yet. Rifle, pet store walnut lizard litter and drier sheets then after loaded to clean, polish and get remaining lube off into the corn cob mix.
  12. There was a spring that one company made - the old glockworks or some such name perhaps, that was blue and was maybe 3, 3.5 if I recall. When the company went away, so did the springs. You can experiment with cutting coils off of the stock spring. If the trigger is too light, go back to stock spring weight. Seriously, it resolves a lot of problems and cuts down on the tinkering. I personally tinkered with all of my glocks but after a 6 month lay off I am really considering just putting all the stock springs back in my production guns. The all still work, but I'm not a sensitive to the light reset as I was and need more feel in the trigger. I have been considering clipping a factory spring and have to round one up don't want to clip mine. I know what I have with that one and is what I have been using. The 4lb.? I got is soft, in between those two would be perfect. 4.75lb.????????????? It never stops amazing me as to how different the trigger feel on every Glock I have owned or handled is. Stock or not Stamped parts and such by different suppliers and so forth maybe? I will have to see if Glockworx has something,Thanks
  13. I was under the impression that there was a spring made by someone that was between the reduced power 4lb. and the 5.5 factory spring. Maybe I was dreaming Wolff lists the 4lb. as reduced power, the 5.5lb stock spring as the medium and their 6lb. spring is Extra power. Maybe the reduced power one I got is bad/weak?
  14. 1 1/2in @25yds? I would be pleased pink with that off a bench! Is it pretty clean? I might have to try a pound. Anyone else get the same kind of results, with anything for that matter? TIA.
  15. I put a reduced power striker spring as part of a kit I got into my Glock. Got a few light strikes and the trigger is a little too light for me. I remember reading about three different spring weights for the striker, light, medium and stock. Does anyone know who makes or sells the medium weight spring? TIA for any info.
  16. Just another thought. If your mag springs are weak you will get the same problem. Chased my tail for a while on my first AR with the same issue, no feed or reliability issues just would not lock the bolt back on the last shot. New chrome silicon springs and all was well again.
  17. Thanks for the info. I have been a .45 shooter for years and I am having one heck of a time finding an accurate load for the 9mm. How is the accuracy@25rds? Using a Glock? Plan to keep using it or trying something else?
  18. Anyone try Ramshot Zip for 9mm? Looking to run it in a G34 with 115gr jhp/fmjs I need to burn up before I go to a heavier bullet. Looks to be about the same burn rate as Winchester 231. If so did it meter and perform well? TIA for any info.
  19. Have all the issues in vision. Got this link some place in my search for the answers, for bullseye and rifle mostly but explains alot and how to deal with your eye doctor. http://www.starreloaders.com/edhall/nwongarts.html
  20. I have a Bul-5 that I use only Para mags in and would guess the bow to have about the same dimension. I have read a Para trigger can be made to fit a Bul with some mods, I have never tried it and have no idea how much it would take but thought about it.
  21. Update: used the FO from these people Thanks Ron. The place I ordered from could not come thru. Not too hard, get the 3ft. length to practice on and you will probably have enough left for a lifetime I was using .060 and .040. Using a combo of a small butane torch and a bic lighter all came out like factory or better. I found you can make the size of the dot larger or smaller to a point and still keep it round bright and clear by holding the fiber with the end pointed at the ground and altering distance and time of the flame. Too much time or heat and it will bubble and or blacken. The thin stuff melts QUICK the thicker not so bad. So if you are on the fence about this go for it!
  22. Not sure if this is what you have? I had this issue with my 1100 and the wear on the shell lifter was not anywhere as severe as SB's. A little cleanup with a file and all was good for me. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65813
  23. Anyone care to share any good experiences/pet loads with Bullseye powder in the 9mm? 130/135 PF maybe, something that will knock down a popper? I have a large supply of Bullseye powder and a few 115gr. & 124gr. Precision Delta bullets. Also a small pail full of 115gr. JHP (3000+/-) that I was told were from Star when they were still in business. Shooting these out of a Glock 34 is the plan, been shooting 45acp for years and this is the reason for the stockpile of Bullseye. Thanks, for any info!
  24. +1 Doing the research and actually getting the parts that are the right combo for your game and style of shooting is the hard part. (Today's political situation and all isn't helping) Buy quality proven parts. If you are mechanically inclined at all and NOT one of those guys that use the "if it don't go force it" method you can build yourself a sub MOA rifle. I personally find the right AMMO and trigger make the thing shoot. All my stuff can out shoot me Go for it.
  25. Been shooting PMC for years when it was cheaper, the stuff from Korea and R.S.A. all my rifles like it, wish I had more. Like Imccrock said not up to nato spec. I do recall however hearing about some of the first PMC out years ago in the Camo boxes that was to nato spec, I never managed to get my hands on any though.
