Yes I hear you. I was out of town for a week for a school. After about two days my laptop crashed. I went to the local Best Buy to see if they could maybe fix it. I had to end buying another laptop.

Alex GREAT job on the match. Did not shoot well, but I did like the stages. I guess I must have slept through some of the things that were happening at the Days Inn. I guess next time I will stay somewhere else.

I talk to Chris last Saturday and he said he could not say who won, but it does not look good for him tonight. I guess we will know in about 5 minutes.

Well I made it home. What a weekend. A BIG THANK YOU to all the RO's, Staff and Alex for putting on the match. This was my first time at the Impact range. Alot of GREAT shooters at this match. I will post more later.

Made it in at noon today and drop by the range. Got a chance to watch some of the RO's shoot the stages and also ckecked all the stages. Quite a few are quick and dirty with a few traps. Should be a good match.

I will be driving in Friday to try and make it out to the range to check out the stages.

Chris was close in going home. There are a few cocky people on the show. Hopefully they are the first to go out.

I have picked up quite a few DBM in the last month. I have a Badger, a Seekin precision, Hooper Ordnance and a Surgeon. All of these use the AI mags except for the Seekin. I have at least three of the badgers on different rifles and it is a good one. The Seekin has a push button to drop the mag and the Surgeon has a lever next to the trigger guard. Now the Badger does have a lever that sticks down and someone makes a lever that rides next to the trigger guard. I have one of those levers on one of my badgers. I also have a HS Precision DBM. It is a good basic set-up in it's time, but you can find better ones. The 10 rounds for the HS are a little pricey compared to the AI mags. I can tell you that you can not go wrong with any of the ones I have listed. Good luck.

Start out with a basic rifle in 308 caliber. There are much better calibers, but for someone who is just starting out 308 is the way to go. A good basic rifle would be a Savage Tactical or a REM 700 Tactical. The SnipersHide is also a good start for information. You can also find good prices on there for sale forum on different rifles. Of course if you have money you can not go wrong with a GA Precision rifle.
