  1. PS. Walmart supposedly is getting ready to get into the Home Theater game, they want to sell a plasma for $400 according to a vendor we use. That should be interesting.
  2. FYI Sony is discontinuing plasma. The future isn't in plasma from what are reps are telling us. LCD is where I would look, we have a lot better luck with them. I know your loaded and if you want a good plasma, look up DWIN, and they are only a couple of Brazos'
  3. I'm using vv320 3.6 grains zero 147 for 140 pf in my XD's.
  4. As long aas you keep score and have equiptment, there will be those that will think it is an equiptment race. I think in reality it is seldom ever the equiptment that wins, but the person that has prepare and executed their the best. You will always have the perception, no matter how false it may be. If you have solid acurate equpitment you will go as far as you are willing to work for IMO.
  5. Small rifle for .38 super becuse they are harder and the primer doesn't fow into the firing pin hole.. I pretty much use rifle for all small pistol loads because then I only have 1 primer to keep track of. I like Federal, but use whatever I can get a deal on lately.
  6. PM me your address and I'll send you a older Pact Club timer I have gathering dust if you want.
  7. He also sells some very good videos too... The book is a MUST have, period.
  8. http://www.springerprecision.com/video.asp This might help Your right hand is pushing out the left hand too much, the left needs to be higher and have full surface contact with the left side of the grip, the right just sits on top. The left hand needs to be higher also. It will feel weird at first.
  9. 1. Sights (Dawson fixed or Warren) 2. CR Rig (it will fit anything well) 3. Vanek (stock Glock triggers suck, but Dave does ok without one) 4. Lots of bullets (forever)
  10. Have you had a heart to heart with the guy? I first saw a design that is very similiar to yours about 6 or 7 years ago. I gave a shooter one of my Bianchi mag pouches and he came up with a product that looks like it could be the big brother of your product. He was a master cowboy action holster maker and made 4 of them, he retired from shooting and as far as I know they were the only ones he made. You might have a friendly conversation and keep an open mind. There is a possibiliy that he may not know of your product. I've seen it happen before. If he stole it, you'll know right away and then, well do what you have to do.
  11. Noooooooo. Please god noooooooo. I run hot ammo, I don't want factory stuff for minor. I want my poppers to fall.
  12. The Burner video series ingrains this into you. I wish he would do it on DVD.
  13. Damascus slide? Do you have some bigger picts? My girlfriend loves engraved guns.
  14. On a large swing, what is the most efficient way to drive your gun to the target? If the technique is different than close targets, wouldn't it be worth learning? If you do most of your presentations from the high ready, it really isn't different anyway is it?
  15. Back to the original question, if they asked for a reshoot, I would reply, "The clock is running." If they didn't start shooting, I would say, "If you are finish, unload show clear." Some lessons aren't learned unless you have the consequences. They seem to sink in better that way. I would let them reshoot the string, "for fun" but zero the stage for the match score. I would not call a holster being locked, "not in the ready position." You don't give reshoots for people not turning on their dots do you? That is up to the competitor.
  16. I guess I was thinking that the non 9mm guns (.40+) would play in L10 not production.
  17. If you can't find someone, let me know. I have a guy here who could weld tin foil.
  18. OK, I was at the local big box store last night and they have a new guy who doesn't know me. I heard him tell a guy "the .45 was the only pistol ever design specifically to kill a man, bald head and big glare on his face." What a goon. Then I asked if he could order me some VV320 in bulk. HE didn't even know what it was. He replied well not unless you want to spend $350 (smirking.) What a goon, I told him as flaty as I could, "OK that should get me through a couple months." The look on his face was priceless. I've done demos at the store before with video, so most of the regulars there know that I shoot a bit. He did a 180 once one of the old timers told him about my work on XD's and how fast the shooting on the demo tapes was and about how sweet the triggers on my XD's are. From a big bad ass to a sheep in 2 minutes. I then proceed to show him how to fit a gun to a shooter and the pros and cons of different products he sells. He was totally clueless. Hopefully it will spare future customers the B.S. he was selling.
  19. I've seen lots of folks fall, some do it more graceful than others but it is never a fun experience. You are not alone.
  20. FWIW We are having new shooters shooting limited minor because they think the 10 round limit is dumb and they think they need more rounds... 10 round limits gives an advantage to the better shooters and not the newbies. But voting on it would be interesting. I think it probably depends where you are. Maybe reduce the limit to 6 rounds and combine production and revolver. (just kidding folks) I've been shooting production lately a bit and shooting minor is fast and fun. I could care less about the mag changes. It is still fun, if I couldn't do them ok they might be frustrating.
