  1. Hennings tips were for STI springs and followers in a tanfo tube and Grams makes a Tanfo specific follower now, if I remember correctly.
  2. Are you using one of the cz buffers with the guide rod?
  3. Yeah, that one looks like it's been shot a bit. I haven't bought a new one in a few years, are they still somewhat soaked in oil new in the box?
  4. I'd exchanged a few e-mails last year with Claudio about Briley making more Tanfo barrels, specifically 6in, .40 barrels to convert the 10mm Hunter. Seems they have enough demand and are making money with their current production items....
  5. Nevermind, makes sure you follow the link that is posted, though, or you'll never get checked out.
  6. I'm getting some stuff that is not usual for the USPSA page. Looks like it might be hacked in a way to link your facebook with your account, to get an ID for the hackers to go with all those passwords. I wouldn't even go to the address unless you are running Ghostery for firefox that blocks some of those things.
  7. Bevel the very front of the flat underside surface of the slide, at the right angle below where the firing pin protrudes through the slide.
  8. I ran buffers in my IPSC Standard with no issues. The TS slide is strengthed and has additional changes to the guide rod recess in the frame, the shape of the "kidney" shaped cutout in the barrel, along with the exterior contours of the barrel. A TS barrel will not work without a few mods in an IPSC Std.
  9. I saw one on Gunbroker a while back. I think I read they are basically Armscor made guns, since Tanfo has some deal with them, hence the MAP-1 guns Armscor produces.
  10. The one thing you will want to probably do if you get thin grips, hack the mag release button down, or you will be dropping mags left and right.
  11. The answer is.....a bigger hammer. You need a vise and some blocks of wood to keep from marring the slide while it's put in the vise as tightly as possible. Hammer the hell out of it with a punch, to the right.
  12. Get a Vepr 12 while you can. Not as cheap as they were, but less expensive than they have been.... http://www.centerfiresystems.com/vepr-12fs.aspx?utm_source=streamsend&utm_medium=email&utm_content=21765753&utm_campaign=aks%2c+veprs+and+glocks%2c+oh+my!

    Cz for limited?

You know that CZ-USA is base in Kansas City? Look up Matt Hopkins on facebook and find out if he's shooting USPSA sometime, I'm sure he can find a TS for you to gander.
  14. The $900 doesn't come with jack. You'd be missing $100 in mags and no spares that come with a new one....which could be had for less than $1100 if you shop around.
  15. 2000 rounds is plenty for gunk to build up behind and around the extractor. It's preventative maintenance to go ahead and replace the spring since you have it apart. Use a punch to knock out the extractor pin, working from the top of the gun to the bottom.
  16. I have to say, I love the sights on the TS I had. Very quick to acquire and accurate when you take care to aim, not to mention that it doubles as a slide racker. An adjustable rear is probably what you want, but you should buy a short front sight, too. http://czcustom.com/trtchampionlpacutts.aspx
  17. Have you ever taken the extractor out and cleaned behind it or replaced the spring?

    CZ Open

The IPSC M was a production model and I've seen several for sale over the years. They were all .40.

    New Tac Sport

.40 ? Dawson front sight, big safety from CZ Custom, 12 lb recoil spring, grams spring/follower kits with some extended basepads of your choice. The de-checkered ones feel good, but I had no issues running mine stock.
  20. The powder is most likely being used by the large ammo makers with no excess for reloaders.
  21. RLN Custom Gear can make you one. Matt Mink likes his.
  22. they've stopped making anything Cz/tanfo
  23. Ha, wish on It sounds like he's 99% "no way", even on the .40.
  24. I bought the last Dawson 100 x 160 sight they had in stock... the new ones are much, much better than the old ones with the revised set screw location. The set screw is still too small, but at least it goes in the factory hole, and it's super easy to install. They are probably working on a batch since they have been out since last week.
