Too much flare/belling

So anyone ever put holes on a cone comp gun?

Mostly looks. While there may be some benefit to making it more durable, easier to clean, lubricity you still need to lubricate it. w So with that being said when was the last time the outside area of a barrel wore out before the inside?

Greasing the bottom side of the plate will keep the plate from moving around when the case drops on it. the grease is more of a glue/shock absorber.

Nothing against GS but if the part price is on par with Dillon why would you not purchase from Dillon? I understand saving some dollars but it is similar to installing non OEM body panels on a car, while they work the amount of time, materials and effort needed to make it work end up costing you more in the long run.

Provide true one a kind jobs that on a dremel could top. All kidding aside most drill press chucks and spindles are not precise enough as they have to much runout to perform precise work

Enjoyed the match looking forward at redeeming myself next year.

While powder is coming back and the pictures show shelves somewhat full there is still a shortage of the popular pistol powders. Most of the stores are getting the rifle and shotgun powders but we are still eagerly awaiting the pistol powders.

550 for 45 and large primer rifle. 650 for 9 major and 40 if needed. 1050 for 40, 223 case prep, and 223 reloading. lee cast for small load and development.

Check and make sure your case feeder is mounted solid. Sometimes if the feeder wobbles and shakes it can cause the case to flip when it is just falling into the funnel on the feeder.

Had this happen to my 45 Trojan and I use Winchester primers using 230 extreme 4.7 N320. Sent it back to STI and they replaced the slide under warranty. I will have to look at the lot numbers on primers and see if any are the XML. My dad has shot thousands of Winchester primed 45 through his Kimber and has not has this problem show up.

By chance are you shooting it in the 38 barrel? Shooting 9 major in a 38 barrel will pierce primers

I have the older one pre rheostat and flipped primers were a problem. Installed the upgrade rheostat and setting on an old computer mouse pad and all is well now. The new ones all come with the rheostat.

So did Freedom Gun Works go through some changes that would cause them to disappear? What is the connection with CK Arms? He was working some with CCG wasn't he? Was thinking about a open gun from them regulating current one to a back up.
