Yeah thats was going to be something else I looked into soon where can I shoot it.
I know we don't have anything around here.
I know a guy local that shoots Bianchi Cup every year I plan on contacting him.
Thanks for the info guys.
I usually shoot USPSA, Steel Challenege, and ICORE.
Where can I get a Bianchi Cup rule book and more info.
Really interested in shooting revolver. I am looking to find the courses of fire, what "stuff" I need, what is legal what is not.
Thanks
Dude the flying is free and not a problem. The drive is normal to drive to a match.
That is however the reason i am trying to avoid a hotel.
But hell i will be shooting that may be worth it. :-)
I have done crazier things to shoot.
Everywhere else is 1 1/2 hour, I'm afraid. If you can get into Lville and out of the airport by 10:15, you would be good to go.
H.
I just looked, CVG is my only hope to get there without spending the night.
The earliest flight in to L-ville don't get in until almost 11.
I can get to CVG at 8:10 which give me time to drive over.
I will see what i can work out.
Lex, and cinnci are the big ones that delta would use. THere is one here in frankfort but unless you have a small....very small plane it ain't happening.
I was lookiong Lex may work I will look at this more.
I am still trying to figure out how to make this match.
How far is it from Cinci airport?
I am trying to avoid a hotel room.
What are some airports other than Louisville?
A hop skip and a jump....say 10 minutes or so depending on traffic through louisville.
I was just looking I would have to fly in the night before and spend the night. Because the earliest flight Delta has out of ATL don't get in until 10;55. That means a rental car and a hotel.
Don't think I am nuts I work for Delta and fly free. I have done crazier things for less.
Do you worry about exposing yourself to the lead in primers?
I shoot lead all the time. I cast my own lead bullets. And I have had my lead checked many times.
My lead level is fine.
With a good qaulity lube, not the stuff they use on cheap cast bullets smoke is a very minor problem.
I shoot lead in all of my revolvers.
Lead bullets that I cast myself because I am even cheaper than Bubber.
And no I do not do anything special to clean my guns.
And like Bubber I will tell you when I clean them.
Really I don't get lead in my barrels that don't brush out.
I size my bullets over size they seal the bore. I use a good lube White Label BAC.
I don't have any leading.
A good place to eat.....very likely. A good place to stay.....not so much.
Chris,
Since you mentioned it, you aren't staying at the match hotel are you?
Do I need to bring a long gun????
Thats funny right there.
I used to hate recessed cylinders until I chamfered one. Makes a world of difference.
Then I cut mine for moon clips also.
A near mint 6" 19-4 I think.
Either way I love it.
