  1. I have a limited in 38 super from 92 before they were relief cut and never had any problem.. But I am pretty sure Henning had one from not much after that, that did crack there... not a lot of metal. Leo
  2. I have never had a problem on my limited with the Tangfo grams setup, using a lee U die, and loading to 1.175.. usually much longer then that is when I run into problems. Only problems I have ever had with the mags are when they get a little bit of dirt in them they tend to act up. Leo Edit: thats with once fired brass. I shoot anything but speer. usually Federal and Aguila.. thats using Clays.
  3. wow, great videos... love the quality Leo
  4. Never had a problem with lead in my limited, 40 or 9mm. You are good to go.. Leo
  5. Does the wrong barrel/slide luggs fitting has been solved on the V12 ? Yes! according to Eric Grauffel and Henning Wallgreen, they have made changes at the factory in Italy. One must be careful in the U.S as some must be repaired. You wont know until you really shoot the gun and inspect it. I would order one from Italy to get the good ones. some of the v8's did it too. I have one that did it and one that didnt. my V12 did it then stopped. So its probably hit or miss. leo
  6. I have shot my Tangfo load in a STI i had and I didnt like it. didnt feel right. but it didnt have the same popple system.. Jeff is right. wrong section to ask about STI's
  7. Always well thought out and executed Henning products. Good Job Henny. leo
  8. Congrats! I shoot open now so I never worry about that pesky rear sight. Leo
  9. is it not stripping it at all? a little more description would be good.. what spring and follower are you using? Leo
  10. I shoot a 10lb in my V8 and V12.. I threw away all the factory and just bought new wolfs so i knew where i was starting. Leo
  11. Reaming is pretty standard stuff. Any competent gunsmith can do it. I don't know where you are based but you do have the option of mailing just the barrel to a gunsmith in another state. You don't need to send the whole gun, just the barrel. Canyon Creek Custom do work on Tanfoglio, maybe you can give them a try. Limited in 9mm does it run or does it have the same problem with the v12's? its the same gun in large frame just with comp added. so yes same problems.. 9mm large frames at the moment arent a good choice.. leo
  12. When I start feeling better from having my wisdom teeth removed at 36 ill post some wonderful pictures of the Modified Blaster Matt did for me. Its a blast to shoot, just have so much going on i haven't shot it much lately. I also have a CZ Modified I picked up from a fellow Bernos member. leo
  13. It was on my gun first, and I never had a problem with it. Then I traded it with henning for him to use in Europe and I think he sold it on a gun. He thought it was a little big for him. But for me I have smaller hands then his huge gorilla hands, I liked it. I think a little smaller and shaped would be a improvement. Leo
  14. I don't know off hand. Henning has my small frame at the moment. If he checks in from Nationals I am sure he will know. I think they are from what i remember from looking at both sear packs. Leo
  15. Henning has been running a Blade-Tech or a G-Code at the nationals. You could check those out. Leo
  16. I have 3 in 38 super, they run perfect its hard to beat that. Almost never have reliability problems (knock on wood) Best of luck to get 9mm working, but it seems to me the cost of shooting isn't brass as much and bullets and both take the same ones Leo
  17. The only way you got a small frame EAA would have been knowing someone at EAA or you got it in Europe. EAA doesn't import small frame only large. And for slidestop pin call Henning. he has a super tight fit new one that he just got back from hardening. very nice quality been playing around with it. Leo
  18. I talked to Caspian lat week about a something along this line. FYI Caspian uses the same mag as the large frame witness with a different mag catch. Maybe easier to change the catch on one of thier mags. Caspian mags have a much larger mag release notch. in a Tanfoglio they have a lot of movement. Leo
  19. my 550 and 1050 really dont care what brass I use, at the moment I run Armscor RL, Starline SC, Starline TJ and Hornady TJ without a problem. Any will work fine Leo
  20. there arent really specs for it because of how the screw sits.. its all feel. Leo
  21. The textured grips are great. nice looking pistol with the Doctor on it. Leo
