  1. If you are worried about pressure, start low on charge and chrono and work your way up. I used to run some 125JHP Zeroes with 4.1 of N320 same length with no problems. Leo
  2. Nope. take some alum or wood ones putty them and contour them and grip take. Leo
  3. Usually the factory mags work fine with any round nose ammo, by working fine I mean they will hold around 15-18 and work. They tend to have problems with hollow points or hap style bullets. Leo
  4. I don't think there is anyone with one who has confirmed they have fixed the timing issues, the issues were not just with the V12 but also with some V8. You are supposed to be able to tell the improved V12's by the comp being profiled thinner on the sides to change its weight and help with timing. Honestly its probably a crap shoot. Leo
  5. I have zero luck with small rifle wolfs in my open pistol and large rifle in my 260 have problems too. Leo
  6. I use pretty only federals in everything. love them, never a issue.. Leo
  7. Not that I know of. I have 4 lbs and never tried it because I was so happy with 7625. If you try it let us know what you think please. leo
  8. I have a SJC Micro Dot Mount for a STS.. after a little dry firing everything worked out great and I love how low it sits and no ejection problems. Leo

    Iron Baby.

    Pretty well done. leo
  10. Try the factory spring and see what happens. It could be just a little to tight adjusted like Hennings article says. Not all the frames are exactly to spec. Leo
  11. Yeah we need a little more info. If it was tuned too close and the extra power was put in there is a chance its too tight. Henning sells his own extractor spring its right between factory and extra power. leo
  12. I run anywhere from 7.4 to 7.7 depending on the batch of 7625.. I shot about 3000+ rounds of N350 through it and then tried 7625 again and found it was a way more comfortable load to shoot to me. The dot dropped back to exactly the same every shot, the recoil impulse felt much better, not so harsh.. this was in a V8. I also ran the same load in the V12 and I preferred 7625 in it also. For me 7625 is very easy to get and of all the powders I have tried it felt the best to me... I am sure there are powders that produce way more gas volume, but I think there are many more factors then just gas that make a gun flat. There is also a lot of personal preference on how you like your recoil impulse. Leo
  13. I gave my buddy a Orange Monster for a gift and he was able to break it. He dropped it from the 2nd floor of his house onto a wood floor. Cant go wrong with a Seiko though... I have a fondness for Seiko 5 line too. leo
  14. Looked at them but never gotten one, they are supposed to be decent watches... for everyday work watch I like Casio Pathfinders that are solar, they are tough and go forever. I had a triple sensor I wore for about 5 years and finally gave it to a friend as a hiking watch and I now wear a titanium one that's very comfortable. Leo
  15. I have run 10lbs and now run Hennings 10.75 with no problem. Thats with IMR7625 and 125gr Zeros making about 171pf. I dont have any experience with power pistol but when I ran N350 I also used a 10lb. Leo
  16. Henning will be back in the office tomorrow and I am sure your order will ship then, he has very fast turn around. Leo
  17. me@henningshootsguns.com is always good to get a hold of him, he checks it a lot and is always good about getting back to people. He gets a lot of email though so it can take a bit to get through it. You wont regret getting the grips. Leo
  18. Cha-Lee is right the grip tape on smooth panels is very hard to beat. I do think Hennings single pass grips get you pretty close though. Leo
  19. Leo 10 lb Wolf spring if memory serves. The lightest spring Tanfoglio shipped their guns with was the only one that wouldn't nose dive the gun, and I ordered Wolf springs as replacements. But I don't think the spring weight really matters. It would be more about spring length and compression I would think. On the other hand, there may be nothing that can be done about this other than replace the part when it breaks, or perhaps have them annealed before installing. I guess I am lucky, I have yet to break one. I also run 10lb wolfs but lately I have been running Hennings 10.75. Its a easy enough of part to make with a lathe at least. Leo
  20. I had the exact same thing happen. Couldn't figure out what was hitting because nothing was. By process of elimination, I'd say spring expansion as it compresses loads the bushing. The bushing (like most of the Tanfo parts) is hardened and brittle and eventually just failed. Mine broke into several small bits and locked things up very nicely. Nice deduction. that probably it. when you broke yours what weight recoil spring were you running? Leo
  21. I have a Ghost and have used one since I started shooting and I love it... one holster for limited and open its hard to beat, I have never had any problems with retention on any sort of stage. I have also never had a problem with it jabbing my thigh. I haven't tried a SpeedSec but I know Henning likes them a lot and that goes a long way with me. If my Ghost ever fails Ill probably try one. I do have a Bladetech for my limited but never liked it as much as the ghost. Leo
