OK, another Nationals everyone will b**** about not knowing when and where.

Well, would a bunch of the guys getting together and shooting (read: match rules) but not reporting the scores to a sanctioning body be considered a "competetion"? Kinda like when we were kids and we all met at the park to play ball. You still get to challenge yourself against others and it wouldn't cost $120 - 200 in match fees. That would work for me. I'll keep my guns at the house thank you.

MB on old computer fried. Buy the time I would have paid someone to check it and then buy a motherboad I thought I would just buy a new machine, with todays prices. Took the old hard drive out of the computer and hooked it into the new one. Can't stand Vista and was wondering what I would have to do to get the computer to boot from my second (old) hard drive which has the XP OS on it. I can still access programs and the like off the old drive, just not the OS. I can get it to attempt it but it reverts back to Vista. Is it something simple I'm missing here?

Lot of guys complain how loud it is and the RO's are especially not to fond of it. Just wait till about a month from now after I put a couple holes in the barrel.

I will NEVER understand how ANYBODY thinks that there will ever be an effective ban on guns. The Gov't couldn't control alcohol during the prohibition and today can't control illegal aliens and drugs from pouring into this country. I use 8.9 behind a 135 gr. rainier. Open gun, runs great. I would suggest starting below the Hogdon website recommend starting point. I believe it is 10.5 and maxes out at 12. I get about 178pf and can't even imagime 10.5, let alone 12. I did e-mail them and they assured me their data was correct. Have tried Blue dot, true blue, hs-6, power pistol, v340 and v350 with longshot coming in the winner with v350 coming a close second. Can't comment about a Limited application but I would imagine it would more than likely be pretty harse. Just start low and work your way up.

Checked a couple prices online and Fed. primers went up to 117.50/5000, 15 percent as rumored, but thought it wouldn't be till Jan. Well Merry Christmas to them to. Guess I'll grab a bunch of Wolf's and see what happens.

I ask the same thing from STI last year before having a second top end built. Just doing the barrel would have saved alot of money but, they didn't recommend it, sorry I can't remember the reason(s), but didn't have a problem with a complete top end. I'm no smith but I still don't see why not.

UUHHHHH, you would spend 500 on a used gun, but not the extra 75 or so for a brand new one? Dude, suck it up and get you a NEW blaster, you WILL be happier in the long run if the the 34 is what you REALLY want.

I hear ya man, these scores are all over, granted I was suffering from "new gun not running right" but how did they know that. They have counted everything so far. Have an 84% somewhere out there if the club would ever post it. Hate being accused of being a sandbagger. So much for the A flag ( over 15% above class) even though it was legit. It is funny though, I read a post here that someone had called the head office to get them to count one he had smoked and they wouldn't do it, A flag. Go figure. I am curious but I just shoot it and it will all work out in the end. Cause what is written in their National Classifier Course Book is definitely not reflected here.

I could see where they were "implying" to retain the baby and make you shot strong hand, but it doesn't specifically state that. That's why, in my opinion, course descriptions and RO's need to be anal in the brief if they want you to do something specific. What REALLY concerned me was the fact that you were out of the RO's sight for 4 seconds. By the time the camera came around the corner you were already done so I couldn't see how the targets were presented, hopefully there wasn't a place to break 180 in the hallway. She could have one helluva surprise coming around that corner if there was and someone did break it!!
