  2. If the previous items aren't the proble, check the Ratchet Restriction Tab (13376) to make sure it has not come off the detent.
  3. If it wasn't stated before, always check the function of your safeties after every reassembly. Some people learned the hard way at the S&W Indoor IDPA nationals this year.
  4. 5.2 grains W231 with 115gn JHP 4.0 grains Clays with 125gn JHP Both make PF for Bianchi (120K)
  5. I would think that you'd have to use rimless super-comp ammo to get 11 rounds work. My 38 Super Cobra mags work 100% with 10 loaded.
  6. Ruger Mk II stainless with Tac Sol 5.5" uncompensated barrel with OKO target reflex sight. I can shoot open or metallic by popping off the scope. Obviously the scope would have to be re-sighted in, but the metallic sights remain sighted in.
  7. Tom, thanks for the update. Today I received an e-mail from the NRA Competative shooting Division which listed a number of 2009 NRA shooting events, including BC09. It stated the dates are 20-23 May. In a prior thread here, you stated the dates would be 22-27 May. Can you clarify the dates? Thanks, Jon
  8. This happened to me once. I was scuba diving in 100' of water off Apra Harbor in Guam. My mind went blank, had a strange feeling of euphoria that lasted a few seconds. I think is was nitrogen narcosis. BK - try breathing
  9. You can get a 1000 ounce silver bar from Northwest Territorial Mint for $10.39 an ounce. Silver Eagles will always have a big premium. I can't explain the $20/oz on e-bay.
  10. Ed, go see Tommy Thacker at Northern Virginia Tactical Training for an afternoon or morning private session. A few hours with him helped elevate me from Limited C to B in two months. Jon
  11. Wickedbag, I have the exact same problem with my Eagle, although you have gone through the effort of additional trouble shooting. I got mine through Thunder Mountain who did a "free" trigger job. I'm curious to see what you come up with.
  12. Dealt with Kead before. Good product, but I have experience long waits and unanswered calls. Try Penn Bullets for similar lead bullets, and better service.
  13. Ran into one offensive poster on another forum. Seemed that his only duty in life was to increase his post count. Based on his join date and number of comments, he was posting around 40 times/day. He claimed to have a job.
  14. Thanks for the updates. The regional is listed on the NRA competition calendar (here). Jon
  15. Hi Ken. Any update on this match? Thanks, Jon
  16. I'm in the market for a new DVD player. Now that the DVD war is over, what are your thoughts on going for a Blu-ray player? Standalone players are now going for around $300. You don't want to know how much I paid for my first VHS player.
  17. Shot this yesterday in Fredricksburg, VA. 12 A's, 9 C's and 3 D's in 28 sec. 3.6286 HF - high C class per Ohio classifier. Weak and strong hand strings were nearly identical in times. Jon
  18. What's the turn around time for an overhaul? I'd go through withdrawals if I was without my 650 for very long.
  19. I have both setups. There are pros and cons of each. The mover base will increase your height above bore and you'll have to aim high at 10 yards to stay in the black. The Fowler-Pride scope has a very round and crisp dot. With a mover base you have instant visual feedback as to where the scope is set. The Gilmore leader scope will have a lower height, which I find that I don't have to aim high at 10 yards. However, the Gilmore leader scope's dot is not as crisp and round. I also found out the hard way that an illumination setting below 7, changed the elevation zero. The Gilmore is mounted with hex scope rings, so any irregularities in windage/elevation cannot be fixed by rotating the scope in the rings. Both scopes use CR2032 batteries that last a long time and are inexpensive and readily available. Good luck. P.S. Jay is a standup guy. He helped out the Marine Corps team this year with a lot of sweat equity making their guns work. Jon
