  1. Loading them to the 1.155-1.158 OAL range will get you where you need to be. Using a machine that belongs to someone else can only be a pain.

    Mod 1 Glock 35

hey it looks good. now mark it up and wear it out
  3. Welcome to the forum. These Xtreme bullets...are they cast bear lead, black coated cast, jacketed or plated? You want the bullets ogive out, close to the rifling lands to stabilize the bullets quickly. Load as long as your mags can function 100%. 1.155- 1.157 is optimal with my Glock G17. Short loading TiteGroup is bad juju. Flare should be absolutely minimal, "just" enough to accept the bullet base. The Dillon Taper die is key to my setup. No crimp per say. The Taper die simply forms the case mouth uniformly around the bullet and keeps it there firmly. Shoot fast, handload your ammo SLOW.
  4. wanted a change of scenery when I launch the forum
  5. Or more of the lady next door! ...still really dig the show.
  6. RIIIGHT!!Never been a dodge made that even comes close to Toyota quality. Never mind the fact that Dodge is a...Fiat of all things now. My old man is rolling in his grave.
  7. Yes, twisted for sure. Bizarre and totally entertaining. Definitely worth the disk space.
  8. The teasers have been great. Hope it's worth recording.
  9. Tension. Wherever it's located in the large "dumb" muscles or the "smart" flick muscles, is detrimental to good shooting. Why? It is nearly impossible to repeat (or maintain) the exact amount of tension shot to shot. This is especially true with the flick muscles. My point is do what you need to do, as long as you do not introduce tension.
  10. Ours here at Rio Salado is Limited. Very possibly the deepest field of GM, Master Class and A shooters in the country. So yeah...tough. Break into the top 10 there on any given weekend and you're flat getting it done.

Hard to believe he hasn't visited the forums in more than 4 years. Really valued his contributions.
  13. Got a one gun match to shoot tomorrow afternoon. Weatherman says sunny and 71* at go time. Rio Salado at its best!
  14. On my 300 AAC Blackout. Best $70 I've spent in a while. Takes a beating. Zero issues after~ 500+ rounds of supersonic loads. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/655370/walther-ps-22-tactical-red-dot-sight-30mm-tube-1x-5-moa-dot-with-picatinny-style-mount-matte Edited cuz voice to txt sucks....
  15. Yes. Plenty of room for all. No one is looking to replace a discipline here, so relax. I shoot my smoothbores better than my rifles and pistols. Way better. I am simply stating that we should not be so shortsighted in acknowledging the huge potential of 2-gun practical matches. Many (not all) of these shooters will join the ranks of 3-gun. This, by any definition (steak knife aside) is a good thing.
  16. Not sure I understand your post... There are not "more competitors in 3-gun". Just more 3-gun matches. If your club put on an 2-gun match next month...there would be the same 100 entries PLUS a dozen or more people who own just a practical handgun and rifle. That group of people is a gigantic number and (for the most part) an untapped market of club/match revenue. And no, everyone will not "gravitate to" 3-gun.
