WST powder for 9mm

I am using WST for 9 minor and 40 major. In 9 minor, I am having a bit of trouble with ES and SD, but I just have to give a little more cushion in my PF. Still feels way better than any other load I have tried to date. I'm using 124 coated lead bullets btw.

Great 9mm minor powder. The biggest downside is that it is very inverse temperature sensitive

Can you define very? Are we talking 100fps swings? Is this personal experience?

Reason I ask is I have heard it ranges ~20fps from 40* to 95* all the way to 60fps in the same temperatures. I'm okay with 20, can load around that.

I like inverse temperature sensitive powder personally. I'd rather deal with that than ones that slow down when it gets cold outside.

It's well over 90 degrees for pretty much the entire shooting season in TN. So it's easy to chrono WST at 100* and know that your loads will only get hotter when the temps drop. So you'll always make PF.

Don't know the exact velocity differences, but I worked up a load @ 40-50* for NRA Action Pistol, which is minor PF. It ran fine until a hot spring day when I left the ammo in MTM ammo boxes on a black tailgate in the sun for about an hour. Turned the 1911 into a single-shot. Wouldn't even extract, let alone eject or reset the hammer/trigger.

I load to around 132 PF generally, 3.3 grains of WST using a 147 xtreme. I have to up it to 3.4-5 in the summer . I have seen 20fps swings, but no more than that. No big deal and now I just stay with 3.4 gr and have been safe.
