Try this version, its the last one with a new feature.

Now its possible to e-mail the results with the android e-mail client.

Just press the "Menu" button to use this.

Michael.

Thank you Michael. This app is awesome. The only problem that I am having now is that it is saying that it is unable to access audio hardware a fake audio stream will be used for test. Is there something else I have to do? Or download. Thank you! James

It does that some times and I haven't figured it out yet.

But try to reboot the phone, that worked for me.

Odd when i touch the bar with my finger it opens here, i can also put my finger on it and slide it over the screen to open or close it.

Great app! Thanks guys!

Couple ideas for improvement:

* reverse the list so, the last measurement is always on top, so you won't have to scroll trough them

* a neat feature would be to start measurement by listening for a beep from another timer, i.e. "spy mode"

* make a standard android "back" button work as exit button

Is any way to add a function that shows the average number of shots per second?

It should be possible to do..

Reverse list seems like a good idea I have also seen other apps with this function and should be quite simple to add.

The "spy mode" might not work properly, as the beep from a Android/iPhone isn't as laud as a "real" timer and therefore it

might not register the beep. Maybe Weisberg has some ideas for this ?

The reason I disabled the "back" button as exit/quit, was that I kept hitting that da*m button but it

could be an option, if it should "back" button or "Quit"/menu.

The yellow brick RUready and CED timers used at the matches are quite loud.

Another thing I wonder if it would be better to move start button to the top? Then it would be easier to push it with the thumb. Also, instead of separate start and end buttons, you could have one button that would just change its function and label and maybe also color (green to red).

Also, perhaps show the last time in a bigger font on top and then scrollable history in reversed order below it.

Iam playing with a new version with the following things :

One button as start and stop, End and Quit button has been removed but added a quit to menu.

A larger text at the top off screen with total time.

In options menu there are two new items :

Reverse view of the results.

Use back button as quit or not.

Michael.

What I had to do to install this on my Droid 2:

  1. In Settings -> Applications enabled "Unknown sources"
  2. In Settings -> Development disable USB Debugging so that I can see the SD memory card contents when plugged into my computer. (I have to turn that on to use the PDANet tethering software).
  3. Right-click on the .zip and Save-As to download it to my PC
  4. Extract the .apk file from the .zip
  5. Connect the phone to my computer via USB
  6. Copy the .apk file to the download directory on the phone
  7. Disconnect the phone from the computer
  8. In the Files app select Phone files, then download, then "Open Shot Timer.apk"
  9. Finish the install
  10. Enjoy!

Ariel and MichaelG...thank you!

Michael...can you PM me a paypal address so I can send you the $25 to register the app?
