Had a great day today and managed to stay somewhat dry. We only had hard rain a couple of times throughout the day. It was mostly just on and off sprinkles that were more annoying than anything.

It was a great match and some fun stages. I'm pretty happy with how I personally shot it too. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes tomorrow.

The IN state SS/production state match is history. Congrats to the winners.

A BIG "Thank You" goes out to all that made this match happen. There are way too many for me to remember to name by name. I hope Jake tries to make this an annual match.

Yeah yeah yeah the weather sucked....but the competitors were great. I worked the big 32 rounder and everyone helped keep the stage set. Thanks to all the competitors that helped keep my stage running smoothly.

...and the winners would be....?

Well, It isn't me! I had a great time. Thanks to the folks in Indi for running another great match. I'll see ya'll at the Indiana sectional or sooner.

Me either but I had a good time and for what it was the match was very nice. A good mix of fast and technical.

The overall winners were Tony Hawkins in Single stack, and Bob Vogel in Production.

The complete results should be up on the USPSA site tonight at some point. However, they will be under local match results and under Wabash Valley Practical Pistol Shooters.

Sorry about the weather. The weather guy is on probation and will be fired if this happens again.:)

Thanks for all the shooters who came out and supported the match.

A huge thanks to the great staff who made it run and run very smoothly.

Congrats to the winners of the guns. And congrats to all the winners.

Hope to see everyone at the Section Match in June.

Corey if I remember right you were 5th SS.

If I was I was waaaaaay 5th :-) zeroing a stage, your first stage, isn't good for the match plan. Thanks for the heads up though and nice job!

2nd place was 89%

Nathan and John were the 2 I remember. They deserved them. I think they got the XDM guns.......those 2 shoot Glocks...ha ha ha!!!!!!! Wait.... they won guns.....dammit....

That is correct, John and I won the two Staff XDM's. Had a great time, the gun was just the icing on the cake. Great match.

As of right now, the results are posted on the USPSA site. (Jake beat me to it)

Well I guess someone didn't want me to go to this match. Friday our honda civic broke down (oil leak). Tonight our van won't start, its not the battery the starter is broken. :( I was really hoping to go to this match.

Ninth place overall in Production. Not bad for some darn KID who didn't get to the match !!!

WAY TO GO ADRIAN !!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to thank everyone that came out and shot the match. I hope that you had as much fun shooting the match as we did putting it on.

I had some great help!! There would not have been a match without Aron "Coach" Bright. We started discussing this match back in November, he took some basic ideas I had for a couple of stages and turned them into what you shot this weekend. 7 stages that covered pretty much everything, fast stages, hoser stages, standards, some activators and of course the long course "Dirty Deeds" that required it all and them some.

I want to give a special thanks to Marc Lorey and David Ball who came out to the range on Friday and built the stages for the match with Coach. I was there, but they will only let me work a stapler, not that they are afraid I will hurt myself, they just don't want to have go behind me and fix my screw ups!!!

The rest of the staff came in on Saturday and got to work right away putting the final touches on the stages. Another special thank you to Tony Hawkins who came through and got me squared away on making the stages more bulletproof and that they would stay consistent through out the match.

Range Master Steve Wright was never called to a stage to make a ruling!!! That is pretty cool!! Steve's better half was awesome to have at the range, Jan Wright did shooter check in with Barry Martens and then ran the clip board all day on Saturday, and ran scores sheets back to the club house all day. She also keep most of us in line and well stocked with crying towels!!! Thanks Jan!!

The Range Staff and RO's did an awesome job while working in the rain, then the sun, then the rain, then the mud, then the rain, then the cold, and some more mud and of course snow. Thanks for making this a fun and safe match!!!

Range Officers and Range Staff:

Tony Hawkins Pete Briggs

Repete Briggs David Ball

Joe Bruscemi Brent Roberts

John Blackwell Mike Thompson

Jeremy Jensen John Viray

Chun Yu Shei Nathan Adair

Granger Wilkins Barry Martens

Chris Bible Scot McPeak

Brian Penley Mike Elzinga

Josh Elzinga Josh Cottrill

Burl Frame Mrs. Jan Wright

Marc Lorey and Joe Viray had the scores ready to be posted at the range within 20 minutes of the last shot fired.

Gun Winner were

SA 1911: Tim Colby

SA XDM: Mark Reed

Staff

Nathan Adair, and John Viray.

Combined Division results are of course unofficial, however while "the tupperwear" crowd may have had more shooters, it was "old slabside" that won this battle of "Plastic Fantastice Vs. The Single Stack"

Hope to see all of you at the Indiana Section this June for some more fun!!!

Thanks for a great match guys. My first time shooting at your club and I will definitely be back. Oh, and it takes a gift to pick a weather weekend like this one out. I wouldn't have changed a thing though. GREAT MATCH.
