mscott
I'll likely buy my next batch from Scharch.com. I thought I got a good deal on some once fired commercial brass, but case prep and trimming sucks. http://secure.cartsvr.net/catalogs/catalog...;showprevnext=

anachronism
To answer your question. 1000 rounds of once-fired, unprocessed military brass is currently about $65.00 or so, shipped. I just bought 1000 last week, so I'm pretty sure on the price. Edited July 12, 2008 by anachronism

Bitswap
I just bought 1k 223 rounds for 70 on an auction site, seemed like a good deal. If anyone has free brass in phoenix, I'll be happy to recieve... 223 or 308. The trick is the bullets. I can't seem to break 24 cents on 223s or 308s there. anachronism
There is a lot to be said for lever-actions and home cast bullets. Edited July 12, 2008 by anachronism
RePete
In all honesty, I think somewhere between $40 - $60 isn't too bad.

Bill T
Brassman usually has prices that are good for once fired brass. I just received 2,500 rounds of once fired .223 from Brassman Brass. The price was $110.00 delivered for 2,500 rounds. Bill T.
Graham Smith
I have a Dillon trimmer and swager and even with them, processing anything more than a couple hundred .223 brass is such an incredible PITA that I'm sorely tempted to just buy processed brass from now on. JACKAL
Is brassmansales in Arizona still around? I tried to look but couldn't find the site. If so could someone PM me the website or number. Thanks
saibot
When I do buy it I also get it from Scharch.com but I get it already primed. You don't pay hazmat so you're saving that on your primers. It's also VERY fast to reload since you're not loading primer tubes. $150ish per 1k.
Too Eazy
Google Wideners. Last time I checked they had unprocessed wcc or wn nt 5.56 for 60 or 70 bucks per thousand and I think that includes shipping. It's a little more work but I actually kinda enjoy it. Anyway, check it out. They also carry some cheap 233 bullets under their "mil-spec" bullet section.
