sinnsyk
Thanks to Leo Hallak and John Sandlin in Kansas City who did the supercool slide-lightening on my guns. After they were done they were IonBond'ed in duo-tone. Looks killer, ey?

sinnsyk
You think that looks nice... check it now with my green checkered grips and a black anodized magwell... unfortunately my camera doesn't do the gun justice. The colors popping out. This is the gun I'll be shooting at the upcoming Kongsvinger Open in Norway in 2 weeks and the following weekend in Czech Republic at the Czech Extreme Euro Open.. Czech's hosting a 30 stage, 550 round match spun over 3 days. Fun.. I think so ;-)
Neomet
I saw these (without the grips) in person and they look slicker than owl shit. My only question would be to go with the two-tone or go all out Darth Vader black and leave the barrel untreated. Decisions, decisions......... slavex
curious about the frame. where the safety goes doesn't look like mine. or maybe it's just the angle, but it doesn't really look like there are detent spots for the safety to engage. Glk21C
No doubt the work is awesome looking and impressive but I'm still a big fan of the look of hard chrome. Call me crazy.

sinnsyk
The gun has: - custom slide lightening cuts (Ionbonded black) - front sight narrowed to 0.090", rear sight dogearred (both Ionbonded afterwards) - magrelease button weld on Wilson Combat button (Ionbonded) - magwell anodized in black - Henning Contour Grip Checkered in light Green custom color - Henning XL Firing Pin - Wolff 13lb Hammer spring - Wolff 10lb Recoil spring - EGW Slide Pin - Ionbond duo-color black top, gunmetal gray frame The factory trigger turned so good after putting the 13lb hammer spring it that I didn't bother to put the EGW hammer/sear in it. The difference is that the EGW parts will give a crisper feel and will give a shorter reset. As for weight, it's good enough to shoot for me. J-Ho
What's the best way to get a mag release like that? Did you just have someone weld the extension onto a stock release?
LeoHallak
What's the best way to get a mag release like that? Did you just have someone weld the extension onto a stock release? John Sandlin did most of the work... I have the tools but he has most of the skill That was mine till i visited Henning for the RM300 and he said I had to give it to him. He is mean like that.
