Middle Man
Flex...how about you put a poll on this thread and see how many would actually bet a gun on their prowess with a pistol? My feeling is that there will be 98 No's and 2 liars. Merlin's probably right on the money... Hypothetically, if I was to make that bet... ...nah couldn't do it, not even hypothetically. I won't be deluded!

Bigbadaboom
Man, look at all the people who are so damn sure they're going to lose.... HA!HA! Saw this coming. Actually I just notice that Flex didn't state what type of competition. OK...lets hear it. What game would you pick? How many glass bottles can you shatter in a row at 25 yards. CSEMARTIN
I would choose the same gun I've been shooting....... It's the shooter, not the gun, that will determine who wins.
Flexmoney
Sure, it's the shooter. But, the bet might make the odds 4 to 1 on the money ($400 gun vs $1600).
Carmoney
Wonder how many Limited and Open shooters would be willing to bet their equipment heads-up against a good Revolver shooter at a USPSA match? XD Niner
Jeez, let me think about that one for a while. (Hint, check my BE forum name.)

sargenv
Hmmm... my game of choice would have to be IHMSA Sillouette... Rams at 200 Meters... you get 5 rounds, I get 5 rounds.. I'd use my Scoped TC Contender in .30-30.
iainmcphersn
The game would determine what I'd want to use. Sporting clays even with a $4000 STI open gun would not go over well against a guy with a Mossberg 500.
dajarrel
I agree with Merlin. Despite all the bluster, ain't nobody gonna bet their best blaster. Well, TGO might, but I don't know of many (ANY) B class limited shooters willing to part with their gun on such a dumb bet. FWIW dj

CSEMARTIN
ain't nobody gonna bet their best blaster. dj You're right!! I wouldn't sell my primary competitoin gun for twice what it's worth- let alone put it on the line to win a $400 dollar glock to teach its owner a lesson. John Dunn
I'd go with a Glock, because even if you lose, you still win!
ChrisStock
A Hi-PointAlan I actually liked my Hi-Point. It made a hell of a hammer when all else failed. Maybe I should've stuck with Horseshoes.
dwt
I'm a lowly B class Limited shooter and 57 yrs young , It would not scare me to take on any USPSA shooter that I've seen to date, reguardless of name or class standing, in some distant shooting of any kind or a few runs on my crow rack . Jake Di Vita
If the bet was worthwhile for me (ie, not betting a $3000 gun for a $400 gun) I'd do it for sure. I'd definitely take something with an optic though. Don't really care much about the comp.
