How come you don't like it? magnum with brake so I am a whimp but at least I see the hit from 600-800 yd through the scope. US optic or Schmidt and Bender From my days of long range shooting, the 7mm is a very "unstable" round, not at all in the same league as the .308. The "7" was frowned upon. I always saw my bullet strike, some of it has to do with a good solid mount and rest. I used US, but Schmidt and Bender is AWESOME. Fixed or variable?
