Where Do You Buy Your Reloading Supplies

triggerpresser

Recommended Posts

I buy powder of quantities less than 32 pounds and primers at the local gunstore.

I like to buy stuff on line from:

1) Lock Stock and Barrel

2) Graff

3) Widners

I avoid Midway

Here's where my supplies come from.

1. Powder, primers and cleaning media from a local gun store.

2. Brass from online distributors.

3. Bullets for limited gun from Precision Bullets.

4. Bullets for open gun from local gun store or online distributors.

I'm in the process of switching to .38 Super Comp, so the brass will be bought from Starline. Powder and bullets are bought from Chuck @ Shooters Connection. Cleaning media is bought from Petco and the Dillon Rapid Polish is bought from be.com

OK presser, I voted. Trouble is I buy most from the local reloading supplier but I do mail order as well. Probably 75% to 25%. :D

Jerry, what are you doing over here. I didn't know you had anything that wasn't polymer... See you this weekend, looks like Saturday. Bring an extra umbrella, Anderson will be a little damp... :D

Well I do only have polymer but you can even use those for steel, USPSA and IDPA. :D I've got an umbrella and I'll have a new poncho as well!

I use internet stores whenever possible.

1x Brass = Scharch Mfg.

New Brass = Wideners, Midway, or Starline

Powder/Primers = Wideners, or Local Stores

Pistol Bullets = Dillon, or Midway

Match Grade Rifle Bullets = O.K. Weber (best prices on Sierra Match Kings I have found)

Other Rifle Bullets = Midway (bulk 55 gr ball)

Specialty Tools = Sinclair International

Regards,

I buy primers and powder locally whenever there is a sale or I run out. I buy jacketed bullets online, I buy lead SWCs locally (cheap). All reloading equipment is purchased online usually at midwayusa.com

Cleaning media is bought from Petco

Hi, I was just wondering what your cleaning media is, since Petco is a pet store? The only thing I thought of was kitty litter (I've owned cats for years). If this is indeed true, does this really work?

Thanks
