kevin c
At the end there, was the camera man diving for cover because the round was hot, or was he just ROTFLHAO?

ranger
Actually, I had two similar incidents with TOW missiles when I was an anti-tank platoon leader in 7th Infantry Division (Light) in the early 80s. First, one of my teams fired a TOW and the main missile motor never ignited so the missile cleared the launcher and slid about 50 yards in front of the TOW jeep - it never armed the warhead so there was no explosion - EOD blew it in place later. On another live fire, a TOW missile fired and then the guidance wire broke and the missile went 90 degrees and then impacted the ground - we all took cover pretty fast. Bear23
I hope the US sold them those missiles. We don't want them coming back at us.
