TCK
What the hell is happening to the shooters on this forum? Outerlimits wants to know abouot our "big sticks" Front Man had to have his stick modified Paul W is studdering (probably due to being hit in the head as Dan says) Bill S is becoming a pimp Dan Bedell it turns out is in the beer business and has had a tatse for it since the age of 4!http://www.realbeer.com/library/authors/bedell-d/index.php
Front Man
I forgot to add that my big stick will hold 28 rounds of rimless 38 Super. I can get 29 in it but it is tight. The magazine for my Caspian was done by Jim Anglin and has never caused a malfunction. And it does fit in the EGW gauge. tightloop
Front Man....I never could trust anyone that spoke about themselves in the 3rd person.... and about having your stick modified, usually that is done at the Bris.... Paul is stuttering because he stepped on his Big Stick Don't know about Uncle Bill becoming a pimp....maybe just his gun And everyone knows gunsmiths REALLY like alcoholic beverages...as do most of the forum members... concrete
Wife keeps threatening to break the big stick if I don't leave her alone She seems to think that shooting is a once a month sport but I keep telling her you have to practice every day to be any good at it. TMC
My Para open mag holds 29. STI for Para tube, Arredondo follower, and Dawson basepad. Its not one for a reload but at the start its 29+1.
tightloop
Concrete I guess that is the bane of the dedicated in any sport...practice makes us better and we strive for perfection...Shooting is no exception and learning how and when to use the Big Stick certainly calls for COF analysis, practice and dedication.... Old Blind Squirrel
I have 2 STI 170's, one Dawson tuned, one not. Both have the Gramm's follower and spring and Dawson base pads. Both will hold 28, 29 not doable. I an "almost" get 29 in each, but I don't think they would work. Both are 100% reliable as set up.
