woodsplitter67
Good afternoon to all. Thanks to all that reply. I have 2 powders on hand N-320 and autocomp I have 124 and 135 gr RMR truncated fmj. In my reloading manual there is nothing listed higher for me to average out to figure out a starting load. Does anyone have load data for a starting point. I'm not shooting matches or anything. Just putting together some rounds that we want to try out in our pew pews target shooting steel and paper.

As I stated above there is no load data either in my reloading book or on the manufacturer load data site that go to 147, hence the problem

Tunachaser
N-320 is not considered a slow powder and you CANNOT use load data from one powder for a different powder. Edited April 25, 2023 by Tunachaser
21 shooter
Hornady listed some load data for RMR’s 135 FP. VV has some data for a plated 135. I’ve got a few of their 135’s but haven’t got around to loading them yet. N320 works good in a 147 and I think it will be good in a 135.
MNshooter
135s are my favorite by far. Great accuracy with both Blues and Black Bullets. Nice recoil impulse. 135 Blue Bullet TC 1.11” oal 3.6g N320 132-134 PF 135 Black Bullets RN 1.08” oal 3.6g N320 134-136 PF

I was under the impression that when looking at load data you need to compare "like". So in other words, when seeking missing load data for a 135 fmj I shouldn't be looking at load data for plated or othere bullet styles.
bodybag0
I've shoot over 20k of this same bullet. I use to use N320 3.4gr, Aol was 1.10 ish. Now I use sport pistol 3.6gr, Aol is 1.10ish PF is

shred
You can look at it, use it as a sanity check or guide, but don't take it as gospel or blindly copy it.
Tunachaser
You can also look at data for 140 gr.. Vihtavuori publishes data for 140 FMJ on there web site. With N320, for example, 135 plated starting is 3.0 gr. while 140 FMJ is 2.9 gr. Very close. and max for 135 is 3.7 while 140 is 3.5. Again very close. FOR ME ONLY I would start at 2.9 gr and do a ladder to 3.4 gr and see what the chrono says. YMMV THIS IS WHAT I WOULD DO...NOT A RECOMMENDATION simply what I would do. Effectus Magis Per Minor
I like- 135 Blue Bullet TC 1.11” oal 3.5 N320 132-134 PF 135 Blue Bullet TC 1.11” oal 3.4 Bullseye 132-134 PF The N320 is much cleaner, the Bullseye is much cheaper.
