  1. Looks like these primers are back in stock. https://republicammunition.com/product/whiteriver-small-pistol-primers/
  2. I matched with them tonight and they all went bang. No issues. I still need to shoot them over the crony but they should be good.
  3. I got mine today also. I loaded up about 50 and will use them in a local match tomorrow. I did test the sensitivity in my shadow 2 with extended firing pin. I loaded up 10 empty pieces of 9mm brass and they all went bang. They load good in my Hornady LNL. Primer seating is between CCI and Fiocchi. Primer height is .120ish.
  4. Ive bought from them many time's. I bought their powder that was similar to VV N320.
  5. Many Sporting Clays shooters think 1300fps is to slow. I know its crazy but many of the top guys here in Georgia love the fast stuff.
  6. Farmer, Thanks for the info. That sucks about Clays. I gave up on clay and now use Ramshot Competition because I got a good deal on it. So Hodgdon says its rebranded powder. Figures.
  7. Ive compared CCI LRP to CCI LPP and FPS we the same. That is with CCI. CCI uses the same primer compound for LRP and LPP in the batch of primers I have that came from the early 2000's. So there are no blanket statements that there would be a 3 PF difference. You need to test each primer manufacturer because some companies use the same primer compound for all primers.
  8. Team, Check this out. Hodgdon has two new shotshell powders. The load data for "High Gun" looks promising. High Gun looks like a great sporting clays powder to get those 1275 to 1300fps for 1oz loads using AA hulls. I hope the stack is good for a nice crimp. It is also instock on Hodgdon's website.
  9. I've shoot over 20k of this same bullet. I use to use N320 3.4gr, Aol was 1.10 ish. Now I use sport pistol 3.6gr, Aol is 1.10ish PF is 129
  10. I'm still working off the 20K I bought back in March 2020. I'm constantly shooting between these and 135gr SommersEnterprises. Back then it took about 3 weeks.
  11. Great Bullet, Ive been using them for years.
  12. I still do. So to me I save about $2 a box.
  13. good to hear it works well in 9mm because I have a ton of it that I use for 12g 1oz loads. Clean and tons of load data for it.
  14. I guess that can happen. Just hasn't happened to me in the thousands of rounds I shot in my 45's with LRP.
  15. Exactly, basically no one shoot those divisions and if they are they are basically new to the sport and don't have all the gear. There's no way a glock will slam fire. I have a glock 21 and it has never slam fired. The striker is no where near the primer until you pull the trigger.
  16. What kind of 45 was he using and BTW who uses 45acp in competition. Sounds like either IDPA or some outlaw match.
  17. If all you have is LRP and don't want to shoot and train. Listen to this guy. Alot of use have used LRP with good results. But you will have to work up your load and make sure your gun can handle the taller LRP. My crony numbers don't lie, CCI LPP vs LRP gave me the same numbers.
  18. I had the same question about the .45acp U die. I've never had bullet set back with my glock 21 and M&P 45's but when I got a 1911 without ramp barrel I started seeing bullet setback. I'm using Lee tapper crimp die. I should say that the bullets that Im having issues with are powder coated bullets. ACME 230gr coated red. 230 FMJ's I don't have issues with setback. I guess because they feed better. Smoother feeding that is. The setback is around .006 to .010. I've done some looking around and others have complained about setback with 1911's.
  19. Yes it will work. I do it now as we speak,,. The only Crony testing I've done is with CCI LPP VS CCI LRP. Here's my Data. 6shot group. The only issue is LRP is .005ish taller. I get about a 3% light primer strike failure. Its my opinion that CCI uses the same primer compound for LPP and LRP. the data below shows that LRP are a little weaker. Durring the pandemic I was able to trade one box small pistol primers for two boxs of LRP. People dont know what they dont know. DE 1911 5" barrel 45acp 230 FMJ OAL= 1.265 6.0gr MP 190 CCI LPP. Hi 789 lo 741 AVG 759 ES 55 SD 20 CCI LRP Hi 779 lo 743 avg 768 es 45 sd 15
  20. This guy will tell you all you need to know about Buck Shot. He get all the pellets in 30" Circles at 60 yards and beyond.
