Stock 2 finish?

Is the stock 2 hard chrome or just polished stainless?

Hard chrome. It’s not very thick though.

It's called wonder finish. 

It is not chrome.

Correct me if mistaken but Wonder finish is what I think they call their black(non ceramic) like the original stock 3. Smooth as hell but easily marked.

The "Silver" guns are hard chrome. Newer models chrome process seems better

Not sure what the Stock 3 finish is but the Wonder finish was a matt grey/silver mostly used on non competition guns and was supposed to be similar to what GLOCK was using but not black

Yup. The "wonder" is NOT their hard chrome.

Tanfo hard chrome is the only chrome that rusts for me. All of the tanfos I’ve owned get rust spots on the outside of the slide.

I've seen that on a couple of mine too. BUT I've also had some that did NOT show through chrome. Notice it's typically on the "brushed" part of the chrome?
