$5k+ for 9mm 2011, who is buying them?

lately somebody from ours club received his SVI infinity limited gun.

after taxes he paid 12k usd. i saw this gun and it was very well build but not made from gold.

The gold went to the importer, exporter, and your government.

 

Can't blame STI for things like export costs and taxes at delivery.

Here's mine from SVI that I just got. This one's just for fun / probably more of a safe queen, given I shoot single stack as my main division

Yup - I’m one of those guys.  I shoot a bit of Limited minor but it’s more for 3 gun for me and for that the 9mm 2011s are great.  
 

Plus they are just fun to shoot!  Low recoil, fast follow up, and it feels a bit like cheating sometimes...

Shop around, you can get nice 9mm blasters for $3800-$4200
