JatCarver
Anyone else get really short life from the 12lb spring that comes with the legion? After 2k rounds and with a clean gun it doesn't have enough force to go into battery all the time. When shooting one handed it barely goes into battery. hitman_usmc
12.5 for my 147 load and 14 for my 124 load (haven't tried a 13 yet, but not sure I'm going to bother since these work fine).
jaep1911
A 13 has been working fine for my 124 load. I’ve settled with it for now.

I’m nearing 5000 on mine without any issues, clean or dirty running the 12 lb spring and an optic. I do have a new spring on hand should I have any malfunctions. Aircooled6racer
Hello: I am running a 12.5lb ISMI recoil spring. No problems at all with my reloads at 131PF. Thanks, Eric
Rich406
I ran the initial 12# spring that came with my legion out to 11-12k with no issues.
Archangelgt
Strange, I've got my factory 12# spring at 4,000 rds. Shooting mainly 147s @130pf
chase214
Just my 2 cents how much does a spring cost vs a new slide. I may be over cautious but I swap mine out every 1000 rds
Dave C
I run a full length Springer guide rod and 14 pound 1911 spring.
JatCarver
Thanks for the input, I already had a few more of the factory 12lb coming so I'll try those again and also ordered a couple 13lb variable Wolff to try.
