I like watches, fast guns, fast cars and faster women.

I can’t be the only one.

This is my current daily a Tudor Pelagos.

I rehack the time when I change the date.

October 1st to December 1st it had only gained 12 seconds!

61 days .196s per day!

I’ll reset again March 1st and will love to know if it keep the trend.

It’s more accurate than any other watch I have.

And the lume can be used as a flashlight it’s so bright.

Not trying to be argumentative, but my Timex loses about
the same amount.
But, sadly, no built in flashlight.   [emoji20]

Not gonna lie. I don’t have an auto that will beat any modern quartz I’m pretty sure there isn’t one.
My GShock is built to last but sadly doesn’t make me smile when I look at it.

Oh, BTW, I really prefer "SLOW" women - at my age, I need every advantage in
trying to catch them.     [emoji56]

I’m only recently married. She’s still fast and I’m still chasing her.

Hey, are we the only people awake at this hour ?

Oh, and BTW, keep chasing her - it will keep you both young

Tonight we both complained about bad backs and bad shoulders. We are getting old.
It isn’t that late. I’ve just had the right amount of vodka tonight to post inane comments to strangers online.

I am sporting a SS Rolex Daytona.  In all honesty, it has nothing to do with the time it keeps.

I am of the mindset that I can walk into any pawn shop in the world and get roughly 10K with not many issues.  Much harder to travel with 10K cash...  Obviously this is a final option in I am in serious trouble situation such as I lost my wallet, am stranded, or whatever in a foreign country etc.

Its also a very nice reminder of accomplishment for me.

Many will not see the sense in it, other will!

If this is a poll, place me in ^^^ this category.     😇

I would say that is likely the majority of people these days... esp because "I have a phone that tells time"!

Yes... all very true.  One very important fact your are didnt mention.

And costs $600-$1000 new and within 2 years is outdated and worth $100 if lucky.

Meanwhile, I bought my watch 4 years ago for 9K, I can easily sell it  in the right forum for 18K with out much issue... and can get 10K out of it at any pawn shop.  So I have enjoyed wearing an amazing watch daily for 4 years straight, and have double my investment.  Not a bad deal.

BTW, I couldnt live or do my job without my phone... so I am in no way saying that the phone is no important:)

I don't wear jewelry anymore. Too dangerous.

You're lucky. With the voltages and current I deal with on a daily basis, your finger would have been gone, along with your ring.

Because of my work, I wear no metal at all.

Fortunately that wasn't MY finger. But a good illustration of the dangers of wearing jewelry (and loose clothing) in my line of work. Also had to rescue a co-worker when his watch caught on a bug nut on a cable strand 18 feet in the air. Pulled him off balance and hung him by his wrist til I could get his ladder back under him.
