bzajdek
I was wondering about how many empty cases of 9mm I should start with in my dillon case feeder or maybe a min or max number, I also have the same question for a Mr. bullet feeder, I am currently loading coated 135 grain boolits. Thanks for any help
oteroman
I have my friction plates tightened all the way.I don’t have a number but how I answered the question was I filled it up until it stalled then pulled out a hundred approximately. You can’t screw up. Experiment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
L3324temp
I use a coffee can full at a time for the brass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mveto
I usually drop in 300 at a time, I’ve had freeze up if I go over 300.
joelogic
4-6 cups of brass, 1 cup of bullets. 1-2 XL650 akro bins of brass, large handful of bullets.
bzajdek
This is great, I have 650 akro bins and plastic folgers cans and I will measure then spray in an aluminum pan with hornady one shot case lube then dump into the case feeder. Thanks for the replies.

Beef15
Hornady (seems weak) case feeder, about 4 handfuls, which works out to between 2-300. MBF gets two handfuls of 133gr bullets. Like others said if it bogs excessively or malfunctions simply snatch some out. I spray my brass in coffee/protein containers and shake it around, works well enough, pop the lid load primer tubes and it's dry by the time I'm loading the hopper. Then take the cases out, and let them dry before you dump into case feeder I believe the dillon case lube needs to dry or have the alcohol evaporate off the cases, I am not sure the hornady aerosol spray is needed to dry the same way but I think I will try out your idea with rifle brass when I purchase the dillon spray. I hear horror stories about hornady one shot being used to size rifle brass
Dirtchevy841
Speaking of the 1050 case feeder I recently upgraded to a super 1050 and sold my 650. Sold the 650 before I bought the 1050 so I couldn’t compare the 2 case feeders. Is the 1050 feeder bigger than the 650 feeder cause it sure looks bigger. Maybe I am crazy but it just looks bigger than the 650 Bowl was.
