wgj3
Yep. Works even for full-sized, old-school ones. May be a little snug if you have a super-long comp, but should be find for anything but the longest guns with huge-est magwells. Acsr
Shower curtain is what I use, gives all the needed protection and water proofing, for a small fraction of the cost

marblerocks
I have always though the nicest cases are the Negrini Pistol case that Atlas was offering. Not only nice but it can be customized.
jstagn
Thanks, was also thinking of using a gun sock Guns are kept in a larger range bag and this would fit a little better. Is it a legal to carry pistol over to safe area in a sock?

There is a new rule saying cases/bags must be closed by zipper etc.
jstagn
Does Velcro or a draw string like on socks qualify? Many sleeved and other types of soft cases use a Velcro closure. Thanks

Draw string probably if it is tied? 5.2.1.1 To be considered bagged, the handgun must be in a case or bag that completely covers the firearm, and prevents access to the trigger, including having the zipper or fastener completely closed. jstagn
Thanks Sarge, I guess if I go that route I’ll make sure to tie string and or close Velcro.
