I'll go first.

Limited.

Glock 35.  Heinie sights.  Pretty much stock, except for the trigger work.

Hogue Power Speed.  Works like it should with the Glock.

Safariland inner and outer belts.  771 mag holders.  I wear a double mag holder from Fobus for the 10 round stuff.

Glasses are the Smith & Wesson.  I like the yellow, good contrast.  $12 at Wally-world.

Ears are 3M brand's 1440.  Fit great...which helps block the noise.

Shoes.  Often a pair of Nikes.  They look kinda like a hiking boot, but feel more like a basketball shoe.  Decent tread.

I currently have some decal grip on the gun.  I have used power-flex tape, and like it.  I also like the Pro-Grip stuff.

PACT Mk-IV timer/chrono.

Bag is from Home Depot.  Heavy duty tool bag...looks like it was built for this game ($30).

For IPSC std. Either STI38Super, Bomar sights at back, Dawson Fibre Optic at front (Kyle, you have seen photos) Hellweg 2630K Series Holster, Mag pouches and Velcro Belt Kit,

or Para P13-45 with 14+1 mags, with Helweg 220A and above belt bits.

NRA Open. Para P20-38 old frame, 38 Super. Standard grip panels and lots of rough grip tape. Kids at local skate board shop think this overweight 40year old is up to something.

Safariland 011. Hellweg Belt Kit, 2 mag pouches in case of brain drain.

Peltor/Dillon Tactical 6S muffs.

Prescription glasses, photochromatic + Hardened glass. With big rubber band. 2 pairs, you never know.

Anything real cheap at shoe shop with rubber knobs on soles. Never spent anything more than $30US. Can't afford good shoes I spend to much money on guns.

CED6000 timer, Oehler 35p chrono.

Big plastic stackable box for ammo in car ( can't have to much ammo for the day) and Dillon range bag and border shift ammo bag for on range.

Plus toolbox for cleaning gear and range rod and big hammer.

I still can't find a holster for a supressed Ruger 2245 for the Ghost Dog stages.

jhgtyre,

How do you think I adjust my BoMars?

E

Are you gunning for Erik's job as head Quality Control Geek at Bo-Mar?  Maybe we should start betting on who can break more sights this year.....

Erik will win the battle for sights, but I'm pretty sure I'll get the title for breaking Laptops.  I've been through 4 laptops in 6 weeks and STILL don't have one that's 100%.

(Just thank the Gods Dell doesn't make guns or accessories, or we'd all be screwed.)

For USPSA Production:

Glock 34 w/ drop-in Bo-mars, grip sock, and trigger job.

Blade-Tech dropped offset holster.

Safariland nylon outer belt and 773 mag pouches (3).

Blade-Tech Mag Pouches (2)

Belt Keepers (4)

For IDPA I substitute the Blade-Tech Belt Holster for the dropped and offset and just use the BT pouches on a Wilderness Instructor's belt.

For Limited:  Either the above G34 or a Glock 21 with Bo-mars, trigger job, and standard capacity magazines with +2 basepads.

Same Belt and Mag Pouches.  Safariland 007 holster.

For Open:

Glock 19 with accu-match barrel and comp, grip sock, trigger job, OKO 8 MOA red dot on an Aimtech Tigershark Mount and 15 round mags.

Same Belt and pouches as G34 but substitute a CR Speed Holster.

For L10:

Colt 1991A1 singlestack, Wilson Nite-Eyes sights, Wilson Bureaucrat mags.

Safariland 012 holster, 771 and 773 pouches and nylon belt.

Pact Mk. 4 Timer/Chrono

Dillon Square Deal B presses, one in 9mm, one in .45 ACP.

Shotters Connection Range Bag

Rubbermaid food storage containers for ammo.

Wolf's Ears active hearing protection.

Whatever glasses I can find to fit my (larger than usual head)

Remington 870 shotgun with sidesaddle and Surefire flashligh fore-end.  Ashley Express Sights, Speed-feed pistol grip stock.

Bushmaster AR-15 clone with A3 carry handle.  Stock configuration 20" heavy barrel.

Gatorade and Evian water in a rubbermaid cooler.  Canadian Bacon and swiss with mustard and lettuce on Pita.

  • 2 weeks later...

There I go having a good idea and didn't even know it!!!  Thanks for the credit for the idea Flex,  I usually have lots of great ideas.  Most I can't remember in the morning,   but for a few blurry hours towards the end of the night I'm a stinking genious!!!

Anyways,  I spilled most of this in the newbie forum but for any that don't go 'down there',

Limited:   two P 16-40 ltds.

one dawson 'ice' magwell,  one S&A

                     dawson optic fronts

                     Ed brown 'wide' thumb safteys

                     Wolff springs

                           13 lb.  recoil

                           17 lb.  main

                           extra power firing pin

                     EGW  shock buffs

                     speed tape

one sti ejector,  one aftec extractor

                     sti tubes with dawson pads

                     safari land inner/outer with 771's

                     cr speed with versa hanger

Production:

                     Glock m-19

                     fiber optic front

                     3.5 ghost rocket

                     houge slip on

                     extend mag. release

fobus tactical roto  ( modified )

                     fobus mag holders

Press:            Dillon XL 650 w/case feeder

Shoes:           none if I could.  I just switched from boots

to new balances.  The spent cases fall

into the boots when I wear shorts!!!

Shirt:              I usually wear something sleeveless,  but

I'm thinking of switching to a plain white

now that I've seen the old photos

                     section!!!  Maybe theres something

                     to that.

Lunch:           I try not to feed the butterflies.  They may

                     multiply!!!

Beer:             Bud light.  Afterwards to help me forget

how many times I dropped my mags.
