fmiller
Do any of you do either? has it helped your shooting?
hwansikcjswo
I did Tai chi and Pilates (Which is pretty much Yoga IMO) It clearly did not help my shooting fundamentals. However, It helps the physical part of the shooting competition. Flexibility may help in a very awkward position shooting. The stronger body helps to last longer at major matches. But none of those physical abilities will not make you a good shooter. You actually have to shoot good in order to take an advantage of the physical ability. benos
For most of the time I was competing I did a yoga routine regularly. I felt the "grounding in the present" aspect definitely carried over into my training and competing. As well as just living life.

Matt in TN
Yoga is the beat overall exercise out there, and helps everything. Start now.
pjb45
Yoga is great for many reasons both physically and mentally. See if you can do 5 high planks for 30 seconds each. It helps with core, flexibility and balance. I just don't do it but once a week.

motosapiens
yoga is amazing for strength, flexibility, balance and mental focus. I would recommend doing it in *addition* to some kind of actual exercise, which could be hockey, cycling, hanging out at the gym calling people 'bro', or whatever.
