B_RAD
Just got it about two hours ago. Trigger sucks! And I mean sucks but we all know that so nothing new there. Front strap checking is not as sharp (or sharp at all) as I've heard. The term cheese garter was heard. So, either mine has the dullest checkering ever or people are just cry babies. (I work at a computer all day long.) Mag well doesn't seem like it's gonna bother me. (I THINK I do reloads like a boss). I think I'm gonna like the larger grip! Oredered a bunch of parts from PD so that'll take care of the trigger issues. Gonna try and shoot it soon. If it's as accurate as my CZ's I'll be happy. I'm sure it will be! I'll be sending it off to get the short chamber fixed. Gonna do a little more side by side comparing to my CZ's tonight. billthemarine2862
Nice! Congratulations. Once you put in some work Tanfos are really nice. I love CZ's as well but my S3 is my favorite right now.
aandabooks
Love my Lim Pro. Patriot Defense stuff is awesome and the trigger can get really good. Really accurate and great handling.
B_RAD
Anyone know how to tell if you got an older (longer) version? Its gonna be extremely close to fitting in the box!
B_RAD
Just pulled out the trigger gauge. SA is 4lbs 10 oz DA is over 12 lbs and won't even register. Why would they even build one with this bad of a trigger?!

johnbu
To show you how much better it is after polishing and a mailbag of Patriot Defense parts. 5 hours ago, B_RAD said: Just pulled out the trigger gauge. ElMateo487
PD 13# hammer. This is with the barrel not fixed yet. So guessing I could do a 12# when my barrel comes back.
B_RAD
You guys put yours in the IDPA box? I'm guessing it's gonna be touching both sides of the gun. Gonna be very tight.

Maybe a mm to spare That sounds about where mine is gonna be. Which is cutting it extremely close! A mm is like 1/32"! Did you have to rotate the gun a little? Have you had any issues with getting it out on stages with box starts? Edited December 24, 2016 by B_RAD

Did you have to rotate the gun a little? Have you had any issues with getting it out on stages with box starts? You can't really rotate it that much because the barrel is flat on the end and usually touching the end of the box. But yeah, it's that close. No problems getting it out of the box though. It's maybe a half second delay taking your time, which is a good amount, but overall not a big deal compared to shooting the gun I love to shoot in SSP legally. MemphisMechanic
As long as no one knows you modified your frame. That's verboten in SSP. So stop telling the whole internet. Edited December 24, 2016 by MemphisMechanic
Jeff O
I'm not I'm just telling you - removing material from the beavertail is not illegal.
MemphisMechanic
Personally I'd want that in writing from Robert Ray before I went grinding on a $900 gun *if* I wanted to shoot IDPA major matches and *if* I were in contention for the win. Getting disqualified for the particular screws used in my holster at an IDPA State match with one stage left to go, and working on one of the 10 best scores in the entire match, I know exactly how fun that is not. Jeff O
As an SO/RO and match director, I would have made it easier by not letting you get that far. On the ball SO's should have noticed at equipment check.
Jeff O
Having said that, I was CSO at Stage 5 of a certain state match when a shooter came to the line ostensibly shooting SSP with a nine millimeter 1911. Heads up at the equipment check and stages 1-4. ? Edited December 25, 2016 by Jeff O
