PatriotDefense
Finally had time to run a few firing pins in different weight configurations. These will be extended and heavier to help the Tanfo light off even more primers with lighter springs.
aandabooks
When will they be on the site for sale?
MemphisMechanic
And will the price be comparable to the EGD and Henning units?
PatriotDefense
Price will be below $40, still finalizing a finish for them that won't require you guys to buff and polish them. Looking like within two weeks time we'll have the first batch complete...... ? Or sooner if I sleep at the shop.
johnbu
I know "a guy" that can do some testing.... if you're interested.

PatriotDefense
So far seeing an additional 3-4" of vertical launch than any other combination of firing pins with our new extended heavier firing pin installed
MemphisMechanic
So, basically a tungsten EGD pin with the tip actually extended, like the Henning. Want.
ElMateo487
The amount of want right now. It's a lot.
mjmagee67
Although I've had great luck with the Extreme FP I'll give these a try. Looking forward to trying them.
IronArcher
And these will work with the stock firing pin block?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
PatriotDefense
Experimented with tungsten, it's a pain to machine and even though it's a lot more dense material than standard carbon steel it's rather brittle. I know it blocks with a extended FPB, Xtreme sear, and Titan hammer. I'll try a bone stock application tomorrow..... I don't see why it wouldn't work remember this stuff is Tanfoglio "Optimized" ? Tungsten sucks when something gets impacted but a hammer and then recoil force. Steel is where it's at.

Does the BOLO affect FPB operation at all, or is that only affected by the sear & hammer combination?
johnbu
Bolo has no impact on FPB. the sear is the big thing and how it is moved.
PatriotDefense
John is correct, BOLO has no impact on the FPB
Deathray
The obvious solution is depleted uranium firing pins.

PatriotDefense
Currently bidding on a section of Unobtainium on eBay, this may however drive the price of the pins up slightly.....
