Have you tried 115gr ammo? For me 115gr hits right behind the fiber optic. I'm actually here to figure out info on how to get a 6'oclock hold with 124gr ammo..... I suspect that the 92s are (as I've been told from a Beretta guy) ammo sensitive when it comes to this. Heavier bullet = higher the impact at range (as backwards as that sounds).
  2. Message Beretta or IDPA headquarters IMO.

I'm a tanfo guy and picked up my LTT last night. Wow... this thing is super nice and will be my PRD and SSP gun going forward as soon it makes the list. I did the regular 'base model' plus the trigger job and this is the smoothest double action I've ever felt. Out of the box ready for competition, nothing needs to be added or taken off of it. They really knocked it out of the park on this one..
  4. Small frame or large frame? Because I'd really love to pick up another Large Frame LimPro just for consistency. Otherwise I was debating on selling my current LimPro and buying two new small Frame ones. I don't much care either way but I want to have a primary and a backup gun.
  5. Since everyone is pushing 147s I'll provide another point of view - 147 felt/feel so slow compared to 124s You're shooting a 46oz metal gun - I want the slide to be fast and the sights to recover fast and 147 just felt sluggish like I was waiting on it. Grip it and tune your recoil spring and shoot whatever feels best for you.
  6. Yeah. I've stuck the stock 2 in the safe going back to the Lim Pro. Pretty interested in having a true backup gun. So put me as interested too.
  7. If you hog out the magwell you're no longer legal in SSP.
  8. Cone barrels aren't allowed in ANY division in IDPA except for those divisions specifically called out in 8.1.8.C and those divisions also have a length restriction too. (Under 4.25")
  9. 8.1.8 Non-IDPA-Legal Features and Modifications for All Divisions The following features and modifications are not allowed in any division unless otherwise specifically allowed in the rulebook. A. Compensators of any type including hybrid or ported barrels. B. Add-on weights. This includes (but is not limited to) weighted magazines, tungsten guide rods, brass magazine wells, weighted grips, and weighted grip plugs. C. Heavy and/or cone style barrels without a barrel bushing except as allowed in ESP, CCP, BUG and CDP divisions with length restrictions. D. Sights of non-standard conf
  10. I installed a super sight and a dawson front sight on my Elite Match. Worked fine with the understanding that I did not care if I disabled the Firing Pin Block.
  11. Ok help me out here...OK. So basically it seems that these tolerances are too tight to have a XFPB last too long. Basically my XFPB isn't moving enough to give enough tolerance and then eventually it gets worn. How do I adjust my BOLO to allow more XFPB / sear movement?
  12. Hi all, I have installed: xtreme sear BOLO Titan Hammer Extended firing pin block PD firing pin reduced and regular power sear spring (tried both - originally reduced power was in) Initially after I installed the extended FPB I was able to push on my firing pin with the hammer back and it would catch correctly (manual safety off). Now when I push on my firing pin I'll get a little resistance (2lbs or so) and then the firing pin goes forward. Taking a look at the top of my sear where it engages the XFPB I see that it has a flat point on the right arm. Did i wear out the sear? Did i wear out the XFPB? Round count is probably 7000 or so on these parts. How do I fix this? Thanks.
  13. Are you thinking about the Stock 1? It's not polymer though but different from the 'Stock' - http://www.tanfoglio.it/pdf/catalogo.pdf
  14. If it makes weight it would be at least IDPA legal. The rail length and weight were the things keeping it out of IDPA before. 2017 allows full length dust covers.
  15. Yes. And I can consider my 9mm Lim Pro + Titan hammer an SSP legal gun.
  16. Canyon Creek used to make one and might make one again in the future. Henning might make one in the future. I'm in the process of working up my .40 Match into a limited gun for sentimental reasons not because it's the best - but it can still out shoot me. I have a Henning Magwell on order right now and after a bit of back and forth over email with Henning he says "If you fit the one we make to the match, you may need to use a steel putty to fill the gaps mostly for aesthetics." So I'll post when I do this. Hopefully this weekend since I'm going to shoot it in a match next weekend. I also had Henning's fixed sight set for the Match and while they're nice I went ahead and bought a 'super sight' and did the cuts myself to the slide to fit them. If you're not planning on using the firing pin safety it fits. As it sits today:
  17. I mean I agree with you but I was trying to pull from my match videos an example of the mag drag issue and this was the one I found. I often happens when you're not making a perfect reload and was never an issue with my Glock. Maybe this is a metal gun thing? I dunno.
  18. So this 'type' of reload happens too regularly where the mag is in the mag well and finds a place to hang up. See gif: Given enough force you can most of the time overcome the resistance to whatever is hanging up the mag. What do I need to polish or smooth out in order to prevent this mag hang up?
  19. Yeah that was my initial plan. Like the factory one. This is more of a pre-travel 'stop' rather than a pre-travel adjustment screw but after fiddling with it for about 2 hours I did what I could and got reasonable results. I'm thinking i'm going to add some sort of spacer/collar on the pre-travel screw and use that to take some more pre-travel out. But... beyond that any more effort will be better spent getting the DA/SA parts in there with a BOLO.
  20. You talking about the over-travel stop or the pre-travel? Honestly the answer for both, in my case, is that it was the flattest part of the trigger in both places. I was having trouble getting my drill bits to 'bite' into the metal and any angles just deflected the drill bit even more. So I went with the easiest places to drill that would still be functional. And this is what you get. Someone with better tools might be able to do a better job but I had to make due with with I had. That said the factory overtravel stop is in a similar place.
  21. Bubba finds a way. It's not pretty but it's functional and feels WAY closer to my Lim Pro than before.
  22. You're right, I'm just spinning right now. I'll trying sharpening it tonight.
  23. Can i see a picture of where you drilled an tapped? I've got several ideas but none seem that great.
