Stroking a open Pistol

Stroking is one of about 10 things you can do to an Open gun to make it "feel" better to you. I personally love all my stroked guns. Your best bet is to shoot one non stroked vs one stroked with similar characteristics(topple holes, slide cuts, comps, etc) side-by-side

I own a stroked Akai gun and have owned a non stroked Akai gun. Both shot great once I was used to the timing of the gun and got a load worked out for each gun and sprung the way it preformed best for me! I could not "on the clock" shoot one faster than the other maintaining the A zone. I split and transitioned both guns the same. When tested doing drills on the timer.

With that said if I was having new gun built I would most likely have it stroked.

If I had a good gun already and it wasn't stroked probably would work out the load and set up and shoot it as is.
