MrTuna
My new CZ 75 Shadow SA has the smooth front and back straps. I see many of you put grip tape on those 2 areas. What type are you using and where can I get some? Thanks! Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
Quirk
Skateboard tape is popular, anyplace that sells skateboards.....
jinn707
I use this stuff: http://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-2-in-x-15-ft-Safety-Walk-Step-and-Ladder-Tread-Tape-7635NA/100132176 Cheap and works great for me. I suggest buying one of those paper trimmers instead of using scissors if you're just trying to cut straight lines.
perttime
The stuff that I have on my 1911 came from a skateboard shop. The edges go under the grip panels there. It felt a little abrasive to start with. Either my fingers got tougher or the grit got dulled.
.45 ACP nut
I like guntape. It has the texture of Talon grips. You can customize your pistol with this tape where you want it. http://www.guntape.com/
zzt
I use the clear grip tape strips from Allchin. When you press them on they become almost invisible and take on the underlying color.
BeerBaron
I use 3m safety walk. It comes in various colours and textures. I find it has much better adherence than most skate tape and it doesn't shed loose bits of grit like other brands seem to. It comes on a roll which is convenient too. One roll will last a long, long time.
TennJeep1618
I use Black Magic skateboard tape. It works well and generally stays in place.

jrswanson1
I've used skateboard grip tape on my Para since 2009. I finally took the tape off this year (it wasn't easy) as the original tape was camo and I wanted to change the color of the tape to black. The new tape works just fine, and I used more of it on my SP-01 and SA Range Officer. $10 for a full sheet.

GJGary
Moab skate tape off eBay $7 for a sheet shipped. With a heat gun it will stick to any curve or radius.
Peplow530
I use this stuff: http://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-2-in-x-15-ft-Safety-Walk-Step-and-Ladder-Tread-Tape-7635NA/100132176 Cheap and works great for me. I suggest buying one of those paper trimmers instead of using scissors if you're just trying to cut straight lines. This is the stuff I like to use as well, very grippy.
