Jrb305
I'm getting ready to attempt a trigger job on my new S&W 929. Has anyone found an India stone at a B&M store, or should I do the inevitable and order one online? I'd like to do it this weekend, and that's the last thing I need. joshxdm9
I looked at every hardware store here local and all I could fine is knife sharpening stones. Ordered from brownells
zzt
I ordered from Brownell's. Their trigger track stone is square with sharp edges. It works great on sears and hammer hooks. Brownell's ceramic stone if perfect for the final cut and to put a mirror finish on the work.

Bamboo
For polishing where you don't need to maintain a square/flat surface I like the cratex bars, and for general smoothing the scotch bright type buffs in a dremel are pretty awesome. The trigger track stone and other stones from Brownells are very good, and very flat.
Absocold
Final shape with india but you'll need an arkansas or ceramic for polish.
