overdriv
XL550B I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything on it. At the moment I'm loading .357MAG, using new Starline brass. Seems to be decent brass. But, it seems to be sticking on the powder drop tube. I can clean it off with a q-tip and alcohol, but that only last for a few cases. There are streaks of what looks like brass on the lower part of the tube up to the enlarged portion which bells the brass. Is there any way to eliminate this sticking. Very annoying and upsets the smoothness of the press.

GrumpyOne
Use dirty brass. Seriously. The carbon on the inside of the spent case works as a lubricant...that, and polish the powder funnel til itvs a mirror finish.
ano
use some one shot from hornady, you dont have to wiipe it off afterwords either. Also tumble new brass before use, thoose new starlines loooove sticking.
rustybayonet
Quick and easy, try a used dryer sheet to wipe the funnel. And if your brass is too clean it can stick. I tumble my brass and go straight to the loader.

9x45
OP. measure the brass case length first. It may be longer than you think.
Dirtchevy841
It maybe longer. Easy try is lube all your cases pistol and rifle and press will run smoother really smooth. I never lubed pistol till I got my 650 and cliff at Dillon said lube the pistol brass for all. It's like butter.
