Superpipe9
I'm having problems with cases bulged near the extractor groove (bottom of the case) and I have a lee factory crimp die that I haven't used yet but am thinking since it's supposed to resize the case and go further down then the Dillon resizing die that this might take care of the problem. I am also worried that since I'm running a mr bullet feeder that the bell made to allow the bullet to sit in the case will be to big and not allow the cases to go in or work with the lee factory crimp die. Any opinions, suggestions would help. Thanks
BeerBaron
I use mbf and lee fcd. Both 9mm and 38 super. No problem. I find I don't need heaps of bell to allow the mbf to place the bullets. Use as little bell as possible.
thermobollocks
The factory crimp die isn't going to do anything for your bases unless you use it with a push-through sizer kit (the "Bulge Buster"). Simply using it as your crimp die will give you a crimp.

Sandbagger123
Get a lee sizing die and use lube while sizing it. it will size it almost to the base. use the FCD as the final die to close the bell. this will pretty much assure that round will chamber in any gun if the OAL is correct. i have loaded thousands of 9 and 40 this way with very few issues. The Lee factory crimp die is not going to solve your bulge issue.

al503
I had 2 casepros and sold them as brass run through with the FCD was around the same diameter. Further, the brass was only ~.001" larger than factory WWB.

BeerBaron
Yes ultimately to get right to the extractor groove you need a roll sizer or push through BUT the lee size die and fcd do size lower than other dies.
slavex
I think the FCD is the only thing Lee makes that is worth spending the money on. They do, in my opinion, take out imperfections that show up during the other states of loading.
DWFAN
Use the Lee undersized sizing die: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/386755/lee-undersized-carbide-sizing-die-9mm-luger +1. Much better than the FCD.
Steve RA
The major problem with the FCD is that if your case wall thickness (times 2) plus the bullet diameter is greater than the sizing ring the bullet, especially cast, coated and plated, will be sized down. The case walls, being much more springy than lead alloy, will spring back out somewhat which can really ruin the neck tension and adversely affect accuracy due to the smaller diameter bullet.
