sniper3
Extreme has147 RN in stock and there about $10.00 cheaper per 1000 with about $6.00 shipping. Its all I use and there an awesome bullet
robport
If you get on their mailing list, they have daily specials and it seems like they have a 147 special every couple of weeks. 5% I believe. I've been using them exclusively for a while...but I'm now ordering some coated ones just to see if I like them (I'm trying some Acme and some Precision). They are a few bucks cheaper still...so we'll see. I've had no problems with Xtreme though. Unlike what I've read, they have been very accurate through my gun. robport
I hope this isn't breaking any rules, but I was shopping for 147's yesterday and built a spreadsheet. The total is with shipping and any discount I could find. Shipping for Blue Bullets and Bayou become a smaller part of total with more bullets, but I was only buying 1000. Prices are from their respective websites. Cost per 1000 Total Coated Black Bullets 85 90.5 Blue Bullets 75 89 Bayou 75 90 Precision 76 76 Acme 81 78.9 Plated Xtreme 87.5 88.13 Berry's 107.28 107.28 Edited July 21, 2015 by robport

dave33
Take a look at Lucky13 zombie green coated bullets(lucky13bullets.com). The 147gr RN is $40/500 and enter code NCGO for 10% off, they ship free. If shipped out of state I presume no sale tax so your total is $72 per 1000 coated 147gr RN delivered to your door. I have shot thousands of their bullets, good product and good folks to deal with. Usually ship very quickly. Hard to beat that price.

rdinga
Dont over look Precision Delta 147 fmj-TC if you buy 2k, they are 104 per k shipped to your door. These are great bullets that are easy to make accurate loads with. And they are not nearly as crimp sensitive as some of the plated bullets https://precisiondelta.com/index.php/products/bullet/9mm/bullets-9mm-147-fmj-tc.html

Justinmac13
Thank you for all the replys, I am going to give some extreams and the lucky13's 147s a try as well. Has anyone had good luck trying the extreme 165 plated bullets. I'd like to work up a soft shooting 160/165 load for steel. The powders I have on hand are wsf, Ramshot comp, 231/hp38, and tightgroup. No boxes, they come in very heavy weight bags, last order of 2500 bullets broke up the USPS box, but, no problem with the bags of bullets. Must have been the 230 g ones that were in the order...... Best price I have found for lead or coated lead bullets. Edited July 26, 2015 by 2011redrider

I have loaded 165's over 2.8 gr of titegroup, it's a decent load but I get better accuracy from 147gr rounds with not much more recoil. There's just not much load data for 165's.
