Hoosiershooter
I tried a search and came up dry. Has anyone cut full-size alum grips to clear the magwell? If so, how did you go about it?
TonytheTiger
Yup. Belt sander clamped upside-down in a bench vice. Go slow and check fitment often.
IronicTwitch
Yes, used a flat steel file and slowly shaved down the grip panels till they fit. Not too technically hard but does take some elbow grease! Edit: added a pic of the finished product! Edited June 26, 2015 by IronicTwitch

CZinZA
I used a disc sander to cut my TS grips down. You get a lot of control and the cut edge is guaranteed to be straight. Something like this. .... Mine is a homemade adaptation of my wood lathe. I guess a mounted belt sander with a table might achieve a similar result Edited June 29, 2015 by CZinZA
bafsu92
I just cut down a set for my production backup Shadow to run a magwell (for Pro-Am and 3-gun). I put them upside down in a vice and cut just a little long with a dremel cut off wheel then finished them on a disc sander
accu9
I solely used a file, it was ridiculously laborious!
