Kory
What was Seven-Up's first name? What was the original design purpose of Kleenex tissue?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kleenex was first a substitute bandage material to replace cotton during WW1. They later marketed it for multiple other domestic uses. 7-up's first name? I don't know, but for some reason I am thinking about a particlar casino game, where a 7 facing up may be called Craps, which doesn't sound like a soda I would want to try. slavex
sorry guys, been busy with school and my forum. obviously the question was allowed to stand, and people were quick about it too! Yes it's the shark. Well done. I heard this trivia tidbit on a morning radio show on my way to school (5am sucks), and didn't believe it, a bunch of searching, and apparently it's true. I guess that's why people eat shark so much, and use it in weird medicines. Ahh well. My favorite trivia question was the Lone Wolf and Cub one from Kill Bill, that took a bit for people to get. But people still got it. I've got a couple ideas cooking for a good one for the summer, but still checking facts.

General cotton substitute, yes - my understanding is that its first intended use was actually for packing gas mask filters, but bandages wouldn't suprise me, either 7-up's first name? Send me your shipping address... you can pick between a very slightly blem Saul Book, my book, a tub of Glide, or a T. Thanks for coming in. Sweeeeeeeeet. I'll drop you an email shortly I already have your book - autographed, in hardcover, no less - so it'll be something else... Oh yea, 42... but I thought Maynard said it was "46 and 2"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 46&2 is one of my favorite Tool songs, for many reasons. Historically, evolution has been accompanied by addition of chromosomes in pairs of 2. We currently have 46, so 46 + 2 == an evolved human state. In this case, by facing ones inner demons and moving past them in an effort to grow and evolve (dealing w/ one's Shadow, in a Jungian sense). Oh - the drum part is sheer joy to play, once you realize how it's put together - simple for Danny, but it was a revelation for me when I first learned.... 42 is a whole other story
