Aircooled6racer
Hello: I have been playing with some powders over the last 3 months. I am running low on Hodgdon HS-6 so I tried Alliant Blue Dot, VV 3N37, Silhouette and Auto Comp. So far I am really liking the Auto Comp. It is a little snappier than HS-6 but has lots of gas to work my comp. It seems to track better than 3N37 and Blue Dot. I tried Auto Comp a couple of years ago with a different comp and did not like it. I tried it in some other guns with the same results. With my new comp it seems to work very well. I think this may be my powder for this year. Now to find some more. Thanks, Eric

falconpilot
Eric, I love Autocomp at well for my 9mmMajor.. Try Gamaliels Shooting Supplys. They get powder in regularly. I bought 3-8 pounds from them last month, and they also take backorders and are quick to ship. Jim

Aircooled6racer
Hello: Shot some more loads today with AutoComp and Silhouette. I am liking the AutoComp more and more. It was as soft as the Silhouette and no oatmeal chunks. The Auto Comp burns very clean. Now to find some more. Thanks, Eric
DRobson
I can't get myself to like the autocomp. Every gun I try it in just feels snappy. Ever try AA7? Two different people using autocomp tried my AA7 loads in their gun and no longer want to shoot the autocomp. Mat Price
I went back to autocomp due to the extreme lot variations with hs6 it's very similar to me anyway

Sarge
Autocomp worked best for me as well. I tried it against HS6, 3N37 and Silhouette and for me it was WAC all the way. Now I have 40 lbs of the stuff, so yes, it's my favorite powder!
