toothandnail
Glad someone else has a tint, I was hoping my scope was not broke. Thanks, Adam What's the color or ur tint? It is tinted. Mine is clear, not quite as clear as my Burris Tac30, but close
ejevans45
Shot mine at the Indiana Multi-gun match Sunday and was very pleased. While not the best glass it's not bad and has a great reticle, great scope for the price!
blaese490
What more would you expect for the money... sub 300 scope, with that said its pretty decent!
Jesse Tischauser
How do you know the difference between the gen I and gen II?
tstuart34
Just right off they changed the focus and the magnifier nuts. The gen two is much more aggressive. Can't get the link to pictures to post.
Steve RA
Don't know how much it will answer the question, it's a gen II in the picture: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=200501&hl= 19th post

CJW
The Gen 1 had a very glossy black finish and the Gen 2 is more matte. If you also look at the optional PA scope covers, the Gen 2 front cover has the angled body shown in Alaskapopo's picture, whereas the Gen 1 front cover was a straight tube, like a Butler Creek. Jesse, Will you be producing a comparison video? Maybe this winter when shooting season is over. I have four sub $500 scopes sitting under a pile of old score sheets on my bench right now. Scratchthejeepguy
Mine just came in a few days ago, and I sighted it in today. A little heavier than I thought, but seems to be consistent so far, and I'm very happy with it for the price.
AFguywhoshoots
I bought one of these to go on my first 3 gun build. So far I like it after 3 months of shooting, it has held 0 with no issues. It is hard to beat this scope at this price point. I will eventually upgrade, but it will be out of want not necessity.
Bill Schwab
Yup, liking mine too. I came in 3rd at last weekend's Peacemaker 3-gun match using mine. Great scope for the money.
scarabrick
I just got mine. What did you guys zero it in at? 100? My 3 gun c guru said do it at 300 yrds for. Our area..las vegas
DDirks
I just got mine. What did you guys zero it in at? 100? My 3 gun c guru said do it at 300 yrds for. Our area..las vegas Zero at 100 and then use the holds. They are close enough when using 55 gr factory ammo that you shouldn't have a problem. But if you do have a 300 yard range I would check that BDC hold after getting a 100 yd zero to see how close it is.
AFguywhoshoots
I originally did 100, but I am switching mine to 200. I have had a little trouble with longer range stuff so I am going to adjust and see what happens.
Jesse Tischauser
I just got mine. What did you guys zero it in at? 100? My 3 gun c guru said do it at 300 yrds for. Our area..las vegas I always zero at 300 with the 300 yard BDC Mark. Is rather be high/low an inch or so at 100-200 then off at 300. 300 is when things start getting hard. toothandnail
The holds on mine are WAY off, that is the only thing I don't like about it. 0'd at 100 , have to use the 400 hold at 300yds
Jesse Tischauser
The holds on mine are WAY off, that is the only thing I don't like about it. 0'd at 100 , have to use the 400 hold at 300yds How far apart are the subtensions? My Swarovski is in Mils. When I zero the 1 mil hash at 300 I get a primary cross hair zero at 55/175.
toothandnail
Here's the reticle, 300 should be the top of the post, I'm actually about 3" low at 300 using the 400 hold Shooting reloads, haven't chrono'd, load data says about 3300fps with 55 gr bullet. Any more specs I'll have to ask Josh - he's the number guy. I'm just a trigger puller Edited October 22, 2014 by toothandnail
CJW
The instructions give zeroing distances. Mine, for example, is zeroed at 50yds because I am shooting it on a 14.5" barrel. Most other barrel/ammo combinations do call for a 100yd zero. ETA: I have to say, Jesse's idea is great—if you can get the BDC right at 300yds, the closer stuff won't matter that much. I never thought about that before... Edited October 22, 2014 by CJW
sb3
Best bet is chrono your load and double check holds with strelok. Then you can input different zeros to find the holds that work best for you. Sure the program costs a little but the amount of trial and error ammo is far more expensive. My 69gr match load looks something like this with a 100 yd zero. Of course you are welcome to disagree ;-)
